My reservation were for 2 nights but I checked out one day early because I cannot stand the scent (odor) from the carpet. The sink was clogged and the air conditioned is not working properly...
No, I will not recommend that place to anyone because it wasn't nice to stay in that hotel. It was very inconvenient especially when you are tired from travelling...
Our booking was actually changed to another Austrai Trend hotel as this one was being renovated at the time we booked. However, I assume that the room would be a similarly high standard - incredibly clean and comfortable.
We had booked a nonsmoking room and were given a smoking room. This was quickly remedied and we were even upgraded to a better room. The staff was extremely helpful, not only with our stay at the hotel but with our stay in Vienna - recommending places to shop and eat. The neighborhood is perfect for someone who likes to stay near the locals and outside of the tourist area.
I was very impressed with the hotel. The location is excellent. It's close to the Metro and buslines. It's within walking distance of the Freud Museum. The room was on the small side but it's well furbished and the bathroom is bright and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend the hotel and I would certainly choose to stay there again myself.
The only thing that was out on line was the 15 euro breakfast, but we opted for a good breakfast that was right around the corner for 1/3 the price. It was a bit of a walk to get around but Vienna is a really big and crowded city. The public transportation was near enough though.
THE HOTEL PROVED TO BE GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND NEAT BUT A BIT TOO WARM(EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOVEMBER). HAD TO SHUT OFF THE HEATER AND OPEN THE WINDOWS THOUGH THE STAFF OFFERED TO CHANGE OUR ROOM. THE HOTEL WAS A SHORT WALK FROM THE TRAM STOP(5-7 MIN) AND U BAHN(10MIN). SINCE WE MADE TRIPS TO PRAGUE AND SALZBURG, WE FOUND IT PERFECT THAT THERE WERE DIRECT TRAMS TO THE WESTBAHNHOF AND SUDBAHNHOF TOO. ALL IN ALL, THE HOTEL WAS A GREAT FIND AND WE'LL DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.
The hotel was awesome and the staff helped us book boat and train tickets and answered other questions regarding travel. The room was great, although we had to open the window as it was very warm (October)even without the heat on. Desk was 24 hrs.

breakfast, what breakfast?
hotel is in district 9, which is a nice area. not so bad getting to wherever you want to go (the vienna mass transit system is outstanding), but the regular tourist sites are not within walking distance. a vienna transit pass is a good value. it will be worth the investment in a good map which has the train/trolley/bus routes and stops clearly marked. as for me, i don't speak any german and get confused by the incredibly long words and names.
the hotel was a good value because of the price i paid, which was under 3 figures american. it did not include breakfast, which was offered when i arrived for 15 euro per day - an astronomical price, even with the dollar in the tank. best to leave the hotel, and get a coffee across the street.
i should mention that i arrived early, and the staff allowed me to check in when i arrived (before 11 am).
This hotel is located about 30 min from city center on tram D. That is including the walk from hotel to the tram stop. We did not mind it at all because you get to see a lot on the way and can hop off and on whenever you want. The staff was nice and helpful. We're very happy with it.
The hotel is clean and staff is friendly.
The room was semi comfortable but clean. The first room we got didn't have a/c but we got another room the same day and a/c was perfect!
The tram / metro was kind of far & it took a good 10 to 15 min ride to get to the Old City. Not much around the neighbourhood to do.
Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. 15 min walking to an subway/Underground station. Staff spoke English and were very helpful. Room was very small, but adequate. We stayed for 2 nights and didn't spend much time in the hotel. Free wireless internet was great. We were there in late June, and for some reason the bedding included warm blankets and there was no bedspread on the bed. The air conditioning did not cool the room that well, but there was a fan provided which was helpful. There was a breakfast buffet for an additional charge, but we chose not to pay for it.
We went to Vienna for vaccation and sightseeing, and was searching for a place to sleep. This hotell was exatky what we were looking for. Quiet, clean, quite cilent area of the town and not very far away from the centrum of the city. (Didn't see any suspect persons)
From Vienna airport take S-bahn 7 and switch to U-bahn 4. (Euro 3,60) Total travel time (including walk from U-bahn Station approx 1 hour.
If your are looing for a hotell whith parties and fun this is not the hotell. But if you want a nice place to sleep to an affordable amount of money, this will be the place.
