Great location! It’s across from the ferry terminal. The downtown area is nearby in walkable distance. Breakfast was like a mini tea. Building is old but well maintained. My room was clean and pretty quiet at night. Pendray inn is fairly small (no facilities) owned by the same owner as the adjacent Huntingdon hotel so i assume you can use what facilities that hotel has. Overall great service and we enjoyed our stay.

The Pendray will not be for everyone. It is a historical Inn and Tea House. At 6 p.m. all the staff leaves for the evening. Then the this historical Inn feels like your personal home. The 10 guests are the only ones remaining in this 100 year old home. It was extremely quiet, a little different and we loved the experience. A big plus was the complimentary breakfast. It was absolutely delicious and a wonderful way to start your day. The staff was kind and and helpful and I would stay here again when we are in town.

The property is advertised as a B&B...the part they don't mention is it adjacent to a 140-room hotel. There is no lounging area, the lobby is tight and in the morning full of guests from.the hotel and general public wanting breakfast at the exact same time you are FORCED to reserve a table for your breakfast as a guest of the B&B.No room service either. Same set mediocre menu every day. Feel completely misled and would not choose this location again. Plus side close to the ferry terminal.

We have a wonderful break at the Penderay Inn. Beautiful property, nicely decorated for the the holiday season. The breakfast is included and a real treat. Nicely presented with well prepared choices. Worth noting that there is no elevator so you need to be able to manage the stairs The staff was helpful and friendly.

This has truly been a remarkable stay. The facility was built in 1836 & definitely stood the test of time. The staff are incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, & oh so welcoming. The property shows the ravages of time in spots but it only adds to the charm. The tiered complimentary breakfast was also amazing.

The Pendray was a quiet oasis, a smooth experience from check-in to check-out. The breakfast was glorious and decadent. Tea was a complete delight. The Inn is easy walking distance to everything I needed. My room was so cute I can hardly stand it. Can’t say enough how much I enjoyed my stay.

Oh my we love this Hotel! I think the Pendray Room at the Pendray Hotel is the most beautiful and historical room in Victoria. The beautiful furnishings in the room- the woodwork and the amazing spacious room with balcony overlooking the harbor! The bed was so comfortable- and they allowed a noon check out too! The breakfast options were classic and elegant in a beautiful Victorian dining room with great service. Everything was perfect!

Historical, charming and comfortable. Most excellent breakfast and teas. No elevator or assistance. Worth the stairs but don’t expect any help with bags. If you want a quirky experience try this out. I enjoyed the easy walk to harbor and points of interest nearby.

Certainly quaint and unique in terms of the furnishings and facility. Breakfast was very enjoyable in a high-tea format. The access to check-in could be improved - we went back and forth a number of times to the Huntingdon to try and get in.
