Location is everything and we are a short stroll to downtown, Fisherman's Wharf, Beacon Hill Park and the gorgeous Dallas road waterfront. Enjoy a morning walk along the waterfront and take in the Royal BC museum or rent a bike for the day. So much to see and do!

You will find a luxurious king sized bed with high quality linens and plush pillows as well as a cozy soft goose down duvet. Sleep like a King and/or Queen after a long day of exploring the many attractions Victoria has to offer.

Your private bathroom includes a shower as well as makeup wipes, natural shampoo, conditioner, body wash (and of course a blow dryer, ladies!) You will also have towels and cotton robes to enjoy.

The next room in your suite is a warm and comfortable sitting room featuring a large couch, cable TV, FREE WIFI, coffee/tea nook, and a bar fridge stocked with cream and Brita water.

There is a sofa bed available for you to use that is included in the booking fee for groups of 3-4 guests. Use of the sofa bed for a 1-2 person booking comes at an additional $25 fee for cleaning.

The suite is on the main floor of the house.

There is a bike lane in front of the house so parking is available up and down the street as long as it is not directly across the street as the neighbours, having no driveways, have requested we leave it open for them. The rest of the street, even though it says residential is free for guests.

This is very much a home away from home!

Quick stay in Victoria
We chose this property based on its location. It was perfect for the two of us and had all of the amenities you would need. Parking is an issue. We got a parking ticket the first day which was unfortunate but 100% on us as it was during the day and we were over the 2 hour limit. I’m mentioning it because they are very aware if you are over your stay in a spot! I will definitely book this property again!

Redeemed vacation rentals for me
Dianne has thought of everything! I was travelling for work and had been so disappointed with my vacation rentals all week until I made it to this Cozy Home Away. Everything I wished the other properties had done, she did. The coffee creamer in the fridge, the bath coats, the cozy bedding, the instant oatmeal available after a long day when you are too tired to find something to eat. It was all so appreciated and truly made this property a cozy home away, not to mention the beautiful yard! Thank you so much, Dianne. We will be coming back.

Fall break
I initially booked this space for my daughter and I planning on sharing the king bed. My husband ended up joining us, the space worked but very tight for three. The sofa bed takes up the whole living space and the eating area no longer has a table so no game playing. We also had not planned on a car but with hubby joining we opted to take car, parking was a challenge the first night in the deluge of rain but after that we got the hang of it.

The Victoria Animal Trip
Well this was a short but full of animal trip for our family in Victoria. Between the petting zoo, bug zoo and the lots of pets on the property our kids were so happy to have this short two day trip. Place was nice if small. Nice beds and nice property. Had all the amenities that are needed for a longer visit too. Would stay again.

Overall, very nice; no kitchen, no water source near the coffee maker except a pitcher of water in the refrigerator. If you wanted to wash dishes or rinse the coffee pot used the bathroom sink. It took awhile to warm up as you had to turn off the three baseboard heaters when you left the apartment. Minor details.

This bungalow was great for our stay. Walkable to Inner Harbor and the bus lines. Property was right size for two of us. Don’t plan on cooking at the unit as there is no sink in the kitchenette but this gives you more opportunities to try all the eateries in the surrounding area. Dianne was very helpful.

Great location for this spot. Room did the job we needed it for. Not a lot of space so mainly use it as a hub to come back to after a day of adventure. Parking was the biggest issue, nothing available for cars close by on the weekdays.

Cozy apartment within walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf and Parliament Building. Owner lives in premises and very friendly and accommodating. We only stayed for one night since we were heading back to the US the next day. James Bay is a nice and quiet neighborhood to use as a base. Highly recommend.

Who could complain about being welcomed with fresh chocolate brownies? They were delicious, thank you. I also enjoyed the cats--and the two dogs. I'd give a higher rating if the place had been cleaner: windows and window tracks need cleaning (there were a couple dead flies), as well as baseboard in bathroom. The living room ottoman needs reupholstering. However, the bed was comfortable and I slept very well. For one night it was fine.
