I was extremely impressed by this hotel room and it staff I don’t care what hour of the day I went down to get assistance with something and not one staff member was cranky or cruel. Everybody was happy upbeat and extremely helpful. I love this place.

The entire hotel had a serious acrid funk that wasn't isolated to the room we stayed in. We didn't comment or request another room because it was pretty clear that they'd all smell that way. I'm not sure what happened to the property, perhaps water intrusion during a storm, but they haven't done enough to fix the issue. The rest of the facility was acceptable, but next time we're in Victoria, we'll find another hotel.

Worth the stay
There is more than one La Quinta hotel in Victoria. This is the one I recommend. Always clean. Always a good breakfast. Reasonable pet fee. Desk clerk has list of restaurants that delivery if you don't feel like going out after a long day on the road or there's fast food across the street.

Our stay was very upsetting, we had to change rooms because our sofa bed and the mattress on it was so dirty. They did offer us a small discount and new room the next day or a refund all together. We opted for new room since it was past midnight. The next room we got was a little better. The pillows are not comfy at all. The staff was friendly, but wouldn’t recommend.

Decent hotel but elevators were not operating. Room was clean but the rug needs to be cleaned. It felt dirty so I had to put my shoes on when walking around. Hopefully they shampoo their rugs regularly but it sure didn’t feel like it. Ick.
