Zum Strand kann man entweder zu Fuß gehen (wir haben 30 Minuten gebraucht) oder mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad in wenigen Minuten hinfahren. Der Sandstrand hat einen Rettungsschwimmer und das Wasser ist erst flach und wird langsam tiefer. Auch ideal für Kinder. Uns hat die Unterkunft und der wunderschöne Garten sehr gefallen. "The property had plenty of space inside and out. A great view from the upper balcony and a lovely patio for outside eating. Tastefully furnished with antique furniture. The manager was there. To help with whatever we needed. Highly recommend Chianni as a place to stay."

"What a beautiful location. Perfect for day trips to all the Tuscan attractions and towns. Less than 5 minute drive to Montecarlo where you can find some lovely restaurants. Grocery shopping is close by as well. Luigi and Franca were awesome. Luigi went out of his way to educate us on where to go in Tuscany and shared much about his interesting life history. Don't miss Franca's most amazing tiramisu. Sorry I didn't get the recipe!"

"Beautiful well appointed flat in the middle of Lucca! Steps away from all of th sites and sounds of the city! Kitchen, terrace, bedrooms /bathrooms were all pristine! Only complaint was contractors on scaffolding right outside the terrace and kitchen windows…..and the elevator was out of service for a 5th floor flat. A pre-arrival notification would have been appreciated as we would have attempted to find an alternate location without the walk up."

"The house was lovely, as described - and our landlords were lovely and uncomplicated people - although we had a language barrier, we had no problem communicating and they assisted us even when we had troubles with our car -which really is not their job!"

"The property was unique and charming. Well renovated with modern utilities and comfortable accommodations. Our host, Guilia had excellent communication and was incredibly helpful. Great stay in Lucca!"

"Well situated home on beautiful property perfect for day trips to surrounding beach, wineries, small hilltop tuscan villages plus the big ones Lucca Pisa Florence . Helpful host with great recommendations for activities and restaurants. Welcome gifts of local wine, homemade jam, and fresh eggs from the chickens. Down side? No air- conditioning for those hot tuscan days as are most homes but manageable with fans and shaded property."

The photos give the impression that the house is on a hill surrounded by nothing but it’s actually very, very close to lots of other houses. Not a problem initially. The view is stunning and the house is nice. However, be warned, you are only getting half a house. The house is very basic. There is no toaster, no microwave and a tiny oven, no iron or ironing board and very little kitchen utensils. This would be a problem if you were...

"Very accommodating stay. Plenty of room for 9 of us. Loved sitting by the pool in the evenings and the kids swimming. Loredana was very helpful with all our needs. Absolutely a great place to book!"

"We stayed in the room named Torre di Pisa and it has the most amazing view of the tower. It is literally 25 steps away. I would say this view ranks up there as one of the best in the world. Incredible! "

It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient.
