The location is situated between mountains and the sea. The ski slopes are accessible until April. It is only 2.5 kilometers to the motorway, giving easy access to the airport in Almeria (35km). The nearby desert of Tabernas (80km) served as a shooting location for Sergio Leone's Spaghetti Western. The region of Gabo de Gata, a superb nature reserve, is 80 kilometers away. Furthermore, you can reach Granada, famous for its Sierra Nevada and its beautifully restored Alcazar in 160 kilometers, Malaga, the town that saw the birth of Picasso, in 200 kilometers and Alicante in 300 kilometers.
