I called the host and while he didn’t speak English, my French is good enough that I was able to understand that he was not expecting any guests and the apartment was NOT available. He said he would call me back but never did. We were able to find (expensive) accommodation of the night but needless to say I am unhappy and need a refund. "

"Die Ausstattung ist minimalistisch: nur zwei Wassergläser, keine Tassen, keine Weingläser, kein Korkenzieher ... Lediglich ein Stuhl - einen zweiten, leicht beschädigten haben wir im Hof gefunden. TV-hat nicht funktioniert. Es fehlt eine Gebrauchsanweisung - z.B. für Zugang zum Wifi. Das einzige Fenster ist die Eingangstür zu einem engen, dunklen Hinterhof, in dem sich eine Rattenfalle befindet. Man kann nachts nicht lüften."

"The apartment was clean, beautiful and well appointed as listed. The communications with host were ok. We received detailed locations on how to access the apartment only 20 minutes before our desired check-in time. The location of the apartment was good, about 8 minute walk to the nearest metro station and 15 minute walk to train station. Guests may be surprised that a restaurant is located in the apt entryway and garbage bins and cooking smells there can be quite unpleasant when entering the...
