It offers lots of food options and a peaceful atmosphere with views of the garden and lagoon. The pool is also very beautiful and well-maintained. "We stayed here for two nights before joining an escorted tour. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was most refreshing. As a bonus there was an excellent restaurant just over the road. "

"Beautiful lagoon-front self-contained hotel, room was spotless, staff the most courteous and helpful I’ve ever met. Lagoon tour (arranged by front desk) was peaceful, full of birds, Captain Rohan a fantastic guide to birds and wildlife. Transportation to Negombo is via tuktuk, driver Asim polite and exceptionally kind (provided tour of Negombo and a short errand for salt and Type G adapter for my travels, Amagi Aria has universal outlets but the rest of Sri Lanka has Type G). Excellent breakfast buffet too!"
