"With one son living in North Carolina and the other in Japan, we're always looking for places in between to have a family vacation. This filled the bill perfectly. Plenty of space and bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen, but we spent as much time as we could outdoors--with many different seating arrangements to choose from. And there's so much to do in the area! We barely scratched the surface."

"We 4 adults were very pleased with the accommodations. Beds were very comfy and kitchen had all the amenities. We made use of the washer and dryer, a nice feature. We went to Butchart Gardens which was about an hour away, so the location perfect in relation to the Nanaimo ferry where we arrived. The beach was near but a bit treacherous for some of us to walk. "The place is right on the beach, so much space to sit and relax either looking out at the ocean or sitting around the kitchen bar. We had four adults and it was relaxing every time we came back from being out. We particularly liked the reading bench in front of the big window. The place was clean, Darcy was available if we needed. Would stay here again if we ever come back to the island. "
