"After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. I have to say I’m a bit fussy, bringing my own bedding and towels but I didn’t need them here. The pristine white bedding and towels were changed every 5 days. "Communication before the stay was excellent. Gite is better than the pictures. Plenty of storage space throughout. The two dogs are friendly but not a nuisance.The reviews are accurate. Peter and Laura are happy to help in any way they can. Great walking and cycling from the gite, lovely villages within 20 minutes drive. Large Super U with fuel station three minutes drive away. "We had a wonderful welcome with Valerie and Yves, The gite was very clean and furnished and equipped to the highest standard. The pool was very well kept and available whenever we needed it. The village was very quiet and very well-kept with lots of easy walks if that’s what you want. It was only 10 minutes to the nearest supermarket and seven minutes to the nearest restaurant with several good restaurants within an easy drive. We enjoyed it thoroughly and hope to return."

"Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"
