"Well equipped beautiful cottage in the Loire countryside. Very Clean. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and have a vineyard 1/2 an hour away - worth the trip and the tasting. The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

"As a group of friends who travel together every year we have been lucky enough to stay in lots of great places over the last 30 years. This house was possibly the best of the lot. An amazing old building full of character and really well equipped, located near the centre of Saumur, the house is very charming. The host, Gilles, was friendly and very helpful , checking everything was going OK and offering assistance if needed. The pool is great and with an underwater view of the old house...

"Logement jonché au dessus des champs de vigne , avec une vue reposante, appartement propre et sécurisant quand on vient avec des enfants, c’est un plus. Localité proche de nombreuses visites à faire absolument ( abbaye royale de Fontevraud, le cadre noir, le château de saumur, Brézé… La gestionnaire sur place était très réactive et toujours bienveillante. "Myself and my family have just returned from our ten day summer holiday at Barbara’s wonderful quaint property. Barbara was more than accommodating from the moment we arrived to the second we departed, a truly fantastic host! The large garden and pool had our 4 year old in his element the entire holiday enabling Mum and Dad plenty of relaxing time to reset. Thank you Barbara again! "dans un endroit magnifique nous avons fêté un anniversaire entouré par nos proches, ce moment de partage dans ce décor était parfait. Domaine très bien équipé, draps à disposition c top, jardin très bien entretenu et fleuri. Alors pour les chiens peureux c pas top, il y a pas trop loin des effaroucheurs pour oiseaux. Sinon séjour parfait !!!"

"Super propriété. Cependant pas de piscine , pas de bain a remous, pas d étang , chemin fermé par une barrière avec cadenas donc pas possible de l emprunté. Babyfoot en très mauvais état.... Certes la maison est très spacieuse.avec une literie au top . la description nous avez fait rêver.mais nous restons très déçu par tout ces manques."

"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "
