Eating out in local area was expensive but there is plenty of choice - popular places get booked up so worth booking a few days in advance. "Friendly staff. Hotel maybe a little tired but a good base for skiing holiday. An 8 min walk from the Town centre and a little longer to the ski lift. For some reason the hotel shuttle did not go to courmayeur ski lift but only to Dolonne lift. "

"We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Centrale whists completing the Tour du Mont Blanc in July 2013. It was a very traditional Italian hotel in an excellent location. The staff were most accommodating and welcoming and always very friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic room looking right onto the piazza with a balcony. We really enjoyed our stay here and would like to thank the management for such a lovely and well run hotel. We did not eat at the hotel as plenty of cafes for breakfast."
