Attic with terrace in the center of Verona

A small apartment with sloping ceilings, very bright. It is located in the heart of Verona, a few minutes walk from the Arena (Piazza Bra), the main shopping streets (Via Mazzini and Via Cappello) and the railway station. Perfectly connected to all parts of the city is also ideal during fairs or special events. A few meters it is the stop for all buses.

The apartment has an entrance hall, dining room, kitchen, double bedroom (with possibility of extra bed) and bathroom with shower. All rooms open onto a large terrace cured. In spring / summer you can have breakfast / lunch or dinner on the terrace surrounded by greenery. In addition to the dining table with chairs and umbrella are also two sun loungers / deck chairs for relaxing outdoors. In the apartment you can not smoke but the terrace gives the convenience of staying safely outdoors.

For guests air conditioning, television, radio, free internet wi-fi, fridge, tea / Kettle, toaster, full kitchen with all amenities, hair dryer, reading room and entry keys. The decor is warm and welcoming. Although in the center, the apartment is well soundproofed. Available private garage.

Fiorenza's apartment was perfect for our stay this July! The terrace in particular was even better than you can imagine from the photos, with plants beautifully maintained and sun all day (with an umbrella for shade if needed). The kitchen was suitably equipped for cooking, the bathroom was clean, spacious and functional, air conditioning worked well, and we really appreciated extra practical touches such as window blackout covers, fans in the bedroom, racks for drying clothes. Fiorenza was very helpful, and although we only speak a little Italian, she took care to translate with her phone. She also waited up for us when our flight was delayed, which was much appreciated! The area is very practical for accessing both the train station and the historic centre.

Verona fantastic
Had a fantastic stay in verona, the apartment had everything and the roof top terrace was a lovely bonus it is perfectly situated 10 minute walk to centre of verona and 10 minute walk to verona trian Station were you can be to milan or venice within an hour.

First, be aware that this is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It is up three flights of stairs (no elevator) and as an attic apartment it has many low ceilings that you need to be careful of. That said however it is a good apartment - comfortable beds, good kitchen, shower and washing machine, and fairly well located for walking and buses. Fiorenza is a welcoming host.

Delightful and unique
Signora Fiorenza's property was exactly as listed. We (two adults) stayed for three nights. Easy 20 minute walk from the station. Access is via five flights of stairs. Signora Fiorenza was there to meet us and provided lots of information about what to do in Verona. The bedroom is quiet and fairly dark. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. We are both tall and found three nights of the sloping roofs was probably enough for us. The rooftop terrace garden (complete with nesting blackbird) was a tranquil haven after a day of sightseeing. The highlight for us was San Zeno Maggiore.

It was like staying at your Italian Grandmother's flat, quirky rooftop suite with more than enough room for two people. The terrace is amazing, Fiorenza has a green thumb for sure. Quiet at night, yet a quick jaunt to all of the touristy stops, local eateries and enotecas everywhere. Fiorenza was very helpful and took her time explaining everything as best she could. Wonderful host through and through.

Attic apartment in Verona
An ideal position to travel around Veneto area . Buses and trains have excellent timetables/ fares and are within easy walking distance. An abundance of restaurants nearby and a gelateria and take away pizza next door. Fiorenza is both helpful and non intrusive. Apartment has all the necessary essentials for a very comfortable stay. June is a good month to visit to avoid large crowds. Do not miss an opportunity to enjoy a concert at Sala Maffeiana at Teatro Filarmonica .

Property with private outside terrace
The property was adequate for our stay and the outside space was delightful .....beautiful plants, private, quiet, table and chairs, 2 sunloungers, outside light and 2 doors to access it. We had excellent weather and used the terrace first thing in the morning and at night and for sunbathing one afternoon. Inside there are tables and chairs but I think lounge chairs/sofa would have been good in place of one of the tables as there is nowhere to sit if you have to/want to be indoors ..... only at the table and chairs or on the bed. There is adequate space in the kitchen with a good fridge, microwave and oven etc . I would have liked a tall glass for drinks as there was only 1 wine glass and no tall glasses. The bathroom is good with a small shower area but very good water pressure, very good hairdryer, washing machine, plenty of towels and space for toiletries. The beds were comfy with fresh clean linen and covers. There is good hanging space for clothes with a light. The roof is pitched throughout most of the property so you have to be mindful of your head but it's not too bad once you get used to it... There is air conditioning in the property and fans available throughout. To access the property there are a considerable number of stairs to climb. Doing them once or even twice a day is OK but if you are older/unsteady/disabled in any way, have a young child/pram etc they could pose a challenge. The hosts were very friendly - we knew where they were if we needed them and the bin was emptied and towels changed when we were out so as not to intrude in our time. The location was 10 mins easy walk to the Arena/shopping/restaurants area and similar to the train station. All in all we were really happy with the choice - the little terrace definitely made all the difference as if you were in a hotel room in the area, you wouldnt have the private space to make the most of the weather etc.

Wonderful accomodation
The property is beautiful as is the owner who does so much to help international visitors. This is a very safe & secure accomodation for a woman travelling alone. Mr & Mrs Florenzia are good people who take pride in looking after visitors with lifting luggage - little items in the fridge and the most wonderful Garden to relax in ( if you hear a tap tap on the door Florenzia needs to water the garden with recycling water from the air con. Communication is very positive - as I don’t speak Italian well enough to communicate = we used google translator. A warm & friendly place to stay & as advertised.

The apartment is lovely and has everything you could need. It is extremely well looked after and Fiorenza is so kind and welcoming. The roof garden is an oasis of calm and cool in the hot afternoon - and perfect for a glass of wine! The location is excellent. It’s a 10 minute walk from the train station and then less than 10 minutes to Piazza Bra and the Roman arena. From here you are in the historic centre and can walk everywhere. Verona is a beautiful city and everyone is very friendly. We went to the opera on 2 nights at the roman arena - it was spectacular! The apartment even had opera cushions which we took with us to place on the seats. There are so many great restaurants, bars and cafes to eat in. We ate extremely well and I loved drinking ‘spritz’ at the bars on Piazza Bra after the opera. We loved Ristorante La Vecia Mescola as the food and service were fantastic- and it was very reasonable. Verona is a beautiful city and the apartment was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Fiorenza was a lovely host who as well as providing us with directions from the bus station to the apartment and information on what to do in Verona, also had the apartment cleaned and ready for us to check in at midday instead of 4pm which is the official check in time. The apartment itself was perfect. It was immaculately clean and had everything we could need. It was very hot during our visit and we spent a lot of time out on the beautiful terrace which was very private. The location of the apartment was excellent. The ice cream shop over the road is indeed very good but I thought the one next door to the apartment was better. The ice creams are made with goats milk and I'm still dreaming of the pistachio and mint choc chip flavours! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Verona and if we were to return, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

The property is a lovely flat in an extremely convenient location close to the centre of the city but outwith the touristy centre. It is pretty close to the railway station too. It has the considerable advantage of having an external terrace which was very welcome in the hot weather. Castelvechio is only a few hundred yards away and the Arena is also close by. The flat has all one might need, and our hosts who live downstairs were very welcoming and friendly. All in all a good experience and would not hesitate to recommend.

Vom Gastgeben wurden die Sehenswürdigkeiten erklärt. Auch wertvolle Tipps für Frühstück und Abendessen waren dabei. Tipp: Bucht die Tiefgarage direkt. Die ist groß genug auch für ein größeres Auto. Verona ist eine Zone mit nur Anwohnerparkplätzen. Freie Plätze (blaue Streifen) sind kostenpflichtig für maximal 2 Stunden.

Sehr schöne Dachwohnung, gut ausgestattet, im dritten Stock. Für Selbstversorger sehr gut geeignet. Wunderschöne begrünte kleine Dachterasse, wie man sie in der Innenstadt Veronas kaum erwartet. Zentral gelegen (15 Min. zu Fuss bis zur Arena). Sehr empfehlendswert ist die zumietbare Garage. Vermieterin war immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit.

Nous vous recommandons sans hésiter cet appartement très confortable. Notre hôte nous a bien accueilli et elle est restée disponible tout au cours de notre séjour. À moins de dix minutes de la gare de train et à 15 minutes des arènes, l’appartement est bien localisé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse qui nous a permis de prendre nos repas dans un îlot de verdure. L’appartement est propre et bien équipé si nous voulons cuisiner pendant le séjour. La signora Fiorenza è una persona meravigliosa. La casa perfetta. Le indicazioni per arrivare all'abitazione precise. L'accoglienza a dir poco fantastica. Piccoli dettagli ma di molta importanza, che ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Nono solo per gli addobbi ma per aver trovato al nostro arrivo anche la tavola apparecchiata. Appartamento molto pulito e ordinato,comodissimo a raggiungere il centro città a piedi nonostante sia in una zona tranquilla.Molto disponibile e gentile la signora Fiorenza.Ottima l opportunità di avere il garage molto vicino all appartamento.Grande supermercato nelle vicinanze.Bellissimo il terrazzo che sembra un giardino....peccato che non abbiamo potuto utilizzarlo a causa del gran caldo di questi anno.....L appartamento è dotato di ogni comfort....quindi consigliatissimo.....
