Very roomy condo, just a short walk to the beach and to one of only a few variety grocery stores on the beach side. Short drive to downtown area with restaurants and boutique shops
This unit has a great location. You can walk across the street, A1A to the ocean. Friendly neighbors. Owner is remodeling so next stay I am sure will be all 5 stars. Greg and his wife are great hosts. Parking is free and there are two spaces. The unit is quiet and you can walk down to some good lunch spots.

Excellent location and very responsive host
The Bethel Creek condo is in a great location for a getaway. My wife and I had never taken a trip south for an entire month so we weren't sure how it would go. The place was great! We have friends who have been 'wintering' in Vero Beach for several years, so they were able to help us learn the area quickly. We loved the short walk to the beach - and especially liked the fact that the beach isn't crowded at all.
We made a morning beach walk part of our routine. Walking north, you can do some 'shelling' and see where ghost crabs get up onto the beach. South, you can connect to the Vero Beach boardwalk and head into town.
All in all, a great time.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Not for us.
Our stay featured safety issues (no working smoke detectors), locks on exterior sliders not working, defective 120 volt outlets that would not hold a plug. defective shower valve in master bath shower, broken entry gate door (vinyl). The host tried to respond the best he could once he got back to me. The host was out of town on our arrival date and on several subsequent days. We lost the water main for two days while the host was in Central America. He did his best to try to contact someone. The actual breaking of the owner side of the water main feed to our building was not his personal fault I will say. The host was responsive in repairing the shower valve and left us a bottle of wine. Just not meeting my expectation as did VRBO who is useless for the fees they charge.
I used this title for my review because it can be very daunting to find a place with even one king bed, and this place has two!! We were very happy with this rental. The location was good - just a short walk down the street to a lovely park and the beach. The condo was well appointed, but not fancy - which is fine with us - and it has been updated some. It was clean, quiet, had convenient parking, very nice neighbors and the owner was easy to deal with. Ground floor unit which means a lot when you have to schlep stuff in - either your personal belongings at the beginning and end of the rental period or when you bring in groceries. If you are not familiar with Vero Beach, the "village" is very cute and easy to get to from the condo. But beware - the shops are VERY expensive. Plus, there are no big grocery stores nearby. You must cross onto the "mainland" to shop at a very crowded Publix because everyone has to go there. Walmart and Target are quite a ways further inland. But that was a minor inconvenience in light of how lovely it was to be so near the beach. Four people would be comfortable in this unit, even four adults, I think, the we were only two.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the condo. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. There is a market almost next door and you can walk across A1A to the beach. We found Tracking Station Park Beach...a 1/4 mile drive north on A1A with an entrance between the 7/11 and CVS. It is excellent. Condo is about 1 mile from the Ocean Drive area and about 3 miles from the Miracle Mile area of Vero Beach. You really cannot do better. Oh...Greg...the mango was delicious! Thanks!
We stayed here for the month of December, 2020. It's a really nice place. It's decorated very nicely without being stuffy or fussy. The kitchen and master bath have been updated. The condo wraps the fenced-in patio in an "L," and every big room has a sliding glass door, so it feels really open and sunny. While the condo shares walls with other units, we never heard anything through the walls. We had only one small thing that needed Greg's attention during our stay. He responded quickly. The condo is very close to town and Jaycee Park, but we found that the beach that's only a couple of blocks from the condo was always less crowded than those other beaches. At night, we could hear the waves from the patio. We highly recommend it!

Winter February, 2019, in Vero Beach
Stayed at this property the whole month of February, 2019. We were very pleased with the overall appearance of the exterior and interior of this property. We found it to be well kept and very clean. All appliances were in perfect working order. TV and cable subscription was up to date. Plenty of sheets and towels. Property very conveniently located to the beach, maybe a 6-7 minute walk. Nice area, plenty of restaurants and shopping. Condo is in a quiet location. We look forward to our next stay at this property. Thank you Greg and Alita.

Enjoyable winter escape in Vero Beach
We loved the location that was minutes to beach, park, and village.
Accommodations were comfortable, clean, and well stocked with necessities for a month's stay.
Only negative: none of the vertical blinds throughout were in working order which would have improved need for extra light, privacy, and use of screens for fresh air. In general, we would recommend this rental to others.

Unpleasant
I stayed here with my wife in March 2017. What we thought would be a pleasant stay turned into a nightmare.
A screen door fell off and when we told the owner Greg he never attempted to have it fixed. The towel rack in the bathroom kept falling off and once hit my wife in the toes which caused her discomfort and pain. The light bulbs kept burning out and were never replaced. We received no reply when we contacted Greg, or his wife, Alita. But that wasn't the end of it.
A few hours after our departure we received a message from Alita claiming that we "damaged" several stainless steel appliances, including the dishwasher, over and refrigerator. She also claimed that there were yellow stains on the bedsheets. We were not responsible for any of this damage. My wife and I take excellent care of every place we rent and feel that we have been taken advantage of. The homeowner Alita claimed that she was sending photos to the website but never did so. When we asked them repeatedly for the security deposit back they sent a robotic message: "Please contact VRBO with your concerns."
The owners have yet to refund our security deposit. There is no proof of this so-called "damage." We are pursing action against the owners in order to get our security deposit back.

Great spot !
This condo was in a perfect location, surrounded by water, ocean on one side, river on the other. Great for biking, boating, fishing, etc. Sidewalks every where making it safe to walk. Great shopping, restaurants nearby. Friendly, helpful people. Lots of sunshine, warm weather. Did not rain for 30 days ! Take yoga class on the beach at sunrise for only $7 at Gloria Estefan's resort ! Awesome.
Wanted to stay forever....
Love the accommodations. Clean, neat, new appliances, carpeting, kitchen, flooring, bathroom, etc. Ownercould not have been nicer.

Convneient location and nicely appointed condo
We enjoyed our stay here, as the condo was very well maintained, very spacious, had a large and lovely kitchen, huge living room and two very nice bedrooms upstairs, one with an en suite bath. Two parking spaces, quiet neighborhood, internet, cable tv in the LR, washer and dryer, and a very helpful owner nearby.
Doesn't have a pool, and you have to walk a block or two to get to the ocean, but over all a very nice place and a good value.

A well-located, well appointed and well-designed comfortable duplex condo
We were very happy with this vacation rental. We have had very good previous experiences renting in Florida, but would rate this the most suitable. The apartment was well designed and had a private patio outside. It was spotlessly clean and all linen and towels etc appeared to be new. It was a very practical option with a well-appointed kitchen, a dining and living area - L shaped; practical and comfortable. A utility room contained a washer and a dryer as well a wc and washbasin; appliances new. The bedrooms are upstairs and the main bedroom is spacious and comfortable with and ensuite and walk in closet. There is a small balcony outside. The guest room has two single beds and there is a nice guest bathroom. Wifi worked very well which was important for us. From our point of view, the location on the land side of the AIA was ideal; the beach was a short walk away and the boardwalk a nice stroll and provided us with our daily exercise. The 'on the beach' hotel, restaurants, shops were close by. We found our landlord Greg very pleasant to deal with and our request for a toaster and an electric kettle was answered promptly . He would have been available if required but everything worked well and we did not need any assistance.

Great location and clean
This location is excellent and truthfully billed. It is a block walk to the A1A and the beach access is directly across the highway. The unit has been renovated and while not luxurious it is most certainly adequate and attractive. It is very well supplied should you wish to cook and is about a 30 minute walk to Ocean Drive where you will find a number of cool eateries and lots of funky shops.
It is within walking distance of a very trendy market. In addition to all the usual supplies there are fabulous prepared meals.
This is a gem that is difficult to find in Vero Beach as a large percentage of properties require a minimum one month stay, many three month.
The owners were very solicitous and made themselves available for any problems that arose. They inspected the unit upon our departure and were diligent in returning our damage deposit.
The only negative thing that could be said is that not all the sliding doors were operable.
Other than that this was a perfect landing spot for a girls week. Excellent for couples no families alike.
