The property itself is historic in feel. A nice pool centers the group of century cottages and the hotel. You walk through tropical walkways that are well maintained and have a private feel to them. We've stayed in 2 different cottages and both were old, unique spaces, decorated with antique furnishings and century old hardwood floors. Quirky layouts, awkward even, but fun and interesting.
The convenience to restaurants and shopping is unparalleled. We walked the boardwalk every day where you can walk to 4 or 5 riverfront restaurants, the farmers market, and party boat. Walk up a block to Five Points and access another dozen restaurants, pubs and diners.
I highly recommend a visit here in Stuart Florida for the views, the food, and laidback, tropical feel.
