shared accomodation
We relied on VRBO advertisements that say that they only allow accommodations that give the user the whole space. I am sorry to say that is a lie, not only does VRBO allow anyone to list a space, but in this case, my 21-year-old university-aged daughter was expected to room with three adult men with only the bedroom as her own space. When I booked the space I informed the host that it was my daughter staying, and she did not let me know that my daughter would be rooming with three adult men until we got there. This was not an acceptable situation for us, and while I didn't do everything perfectly when I contacted VRBO and let them know about the situation, they did nothing for us. So, user beware because VRBO will NOT help you if anything is wrong.
