"Great Hotel, its just at the Sigmaringen Hbf so very close; also Lidl (5 mins by walking) and Kaufland is close by Burg Sigmaringen is right there too. The hotel is clean, the front desk lady very accommodating and helpful! no elevators so wooden stairs. Room is quaint and very warm with carpet so I would take off shoe before venturing further in the room. You can adjust the heat yourself (no central heating control). The Beams in the room is a bit of a safety hazard (for some) if not careful. The bathroom is great but smells like a bit of sulfur/sewage? so the light turns on with the fan (not much of a bother to me). TV with most channels and you can use Netflix/Disney+/etc. (navigate to app store - Samsung TV). All-in-all, great! excellent stay if you are in the area to visit Burg Sigmaringen, Burg Hohenzollern and maybe Schloss Lichtenstein (plan out a route for this one) and to Ulm.. Also Thank you for the little gifts! much appreciated! you don’t get that in other hotels these days "

"This was a very nice hotel with a wonderful breakfast. Unfortunately, the description on Expedia was inaccurate and caused us some inconvenience. The Expedia description was that the hotel had a 24/7 reception, however, when we arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm due to late train connections, no one was at the hotel. Luckily, the manager arrived and we were able to get into our room, but he also informed us that reception was only open until 10 pm. We had both emailed each other using the Expedia system and neither of us had received each other's emails. The manager was initially very frustrated but after he calmed down he was very gracious. We were also dismayed to find out that although Expedia's description promised an elevator, there was none, and we had to climb two flights of stairs--and I have bad knees. The manager did carry up our heavy bag, but that did not help my knees. Expedia needs to make sure that their descriptions of their properties are accurate. We specifically picked this hotel because of the 24/7 reception and the elevator. Otherwise, this was a very nice hotel to stay in."
