Le bus passe toutes les heures et l'arrêt se trouve à 3 minutes du gite ou un P+r à 20 minutes pas de souci de parking lors de votre visite de La Rochelle . Le propriétaire du gite est très accueillant et fait en sorte que votre séjour se passe agréablement . Magasin de proximités dans l'Houmeau et accès à la plage a pied ."

"We had a fantastic time staying at this gite, with three generations of our family. The house is well equipped and very comfortable - and has lots of space for bikes to be stored. It is a short cycle ride to Saint-Martin, to the centre of Bois-Plage (where there is a market every day during the summer) and to the beach. We would recommend the house to other large family groups!"

"Had a fantastic 10 days with the family. Our host was very welcoming. Spacious and functional house, inside and out, perfect to accommodate all 13 of us with plenty of communal areas. Ideally designed so that each of our 4 family units had their own bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. The little village had a very friendly bar a tremendous butcher with a huge range of products and a baker's shop with bread to die for. Carine and her daughter were extremely helpful. We will definately be going again."

"We travelled as a family of 6 and had a fantastic week in August 23. The property is extremely well refurbished and has a fantastic outdoor space. The location is ideal being a 8 - 10 min walk to the marina and old port where are all the restaurants, bars and main shops are. A quieter retreat to get away from the later night hustle and bustle of the main town. Local shop 2 min walk has all the produce you need for the week if you don’t have a car. Old town market is also fantastic and a must....

"The flat was clean and lovely with everything you need to cook a home cooked meal and a spacious children's room with toys and games. The courtyard was our favourite part of the rental with a bbq, lounge chairs a dining table and even a sofa. The mezzanine under the roof was a bit hot to sleep in when the outdoor temperature was high. We loved the proximity (1 min walk) to the town square with a baker, a cafe, restaurants, a fishmonger and cheesemonger. The walk to the beach although under 10...

"This is the quietest holiday on record for us and we always look for quiet locations. The house is a charm and François and Claudine made for the most hospitable hosts. The Vendée has so much to offer and we loved the safe cycling on flat roads using the bikes that came with the property. It’s about an hour to La Rochelle and in east reach of many delightful villages. Highly recommended"

"We enjoyed a perfect, relaxing holiday at Lydie and David's beautiful house. The photos really do not do this house justice - it is much bigger than you expect - lots of 'extra' spaces with seating, including a mezzanine with desk and futon, so plenty of space for teenagers to spread out . We were only 5, but there would be plenty of room for 8. It is decorated to a high standard - very tasteful and comfortable.
