Located 5km from the fortified town of Monpazier (est. 1289), this house was fully renovated oin 2017 and 2018. The house is within a two-hour drive from either the Bordeaux Airport (Mérignac) or the Toulouse Airport (Blagnac) and at 40 minutes from Bergerac Airport. The area is well know for its several prehistoric sites (Cave of Lascaux, Neanderthal site of Les-Eyzies-de-Tayac, etc.), its abysses (Proumeyssac, Padirac, etc.) and the castles from the Middle Age (Biron - 4km away from the house - , Bonaguil, Castlenaud, Beynac, etc.). It is also the land of duck confit and foie gras notwithstanding the several wineries we can find everywhere.
The land has been in my family for over 350 years. My wife and I are the 13th generation of owners. We bought the house from my uncle and my aunt. Before that, the house has been given from mother to daughter for generations. Rental incomes will hopefully allow my wife and I to maintain the house and donate it to our own children.
