"Two parents, daughters 17-21. Lovely not very busy communal pool. Clean house. Air con and fans throughout. Lovely quiet street. Friendly neighbours. Beautiful view of the bay from the roof terrace with a lovely breeze that took the edge off 30-degree+ heat. Three minute walk to the beach. Sea calm, warm and not busy. Beach never busy. Great bars and restaurants within easy walk. One small supermarket for all house and beach essentials a long five minute walk and a main supermarket and more shops a short 25-minute walk away. Fully equipped kitchen, a bit on the small side but easy for serving food to the open plan dining room and sitting room and two people can easily work in it. Brilliant hosts. Very quick to respond and solve (very tiny) problems, and super helpful generally. Very welcoming and added to the all-round loveliness of our stay. Excellent wi fi and mega selection of digital tv channels. Two cons: No games for the beach or indoors, so bring whatever you need for that (but beach towels, chairs and one beach lounger supplied). Only four loungers for sunbathing on the terrace, which you could take downstairs if you could be bothered. Beach towels, mats and umbrellas provided. You might want to google Vera and its nudist colony. We were surprised and slightly perturbed by occasionally coming across a naked man/couple in the street or bar but you filter them out in the end. Great stay, great weather, great hosts and a lovely property."

"Lovely and clean,comfortable, well presented, pool and jacuzzi the cherry on the cake. Renters must have a car as no restaurants nearby but we know the area and all the places to eat. Hope to return for longer next year with family. Steve very helpful and good to know someone available if we had needed them. Wendy & Paul"

"We found the apartment very small the kitchen especially small almost impossible to cook in even though there was everything you could possibly need very well equipped. The towels were very old and like dusters we had to go and buy a couple of bath towels from todo shop there was no toilet paper on arrival no cleaning products to keep it clean the beds were rock hard only one sunbed was usable the others were all broken as were the sun umbrellas the bikes had flat tyres. The location made up for the misrepresentations and very quiet with a beautiful pool. Only having one key made it difficult. Wi-Fi not very reliable. But you get what you pay for and we had a relaxing stay."

"If you are looking to stay in one of the loveliest homes in a beautiful setting, this is for you. We were treated so well by Sara and Dom. they could not have done enough for us, certainly over and above anything we have experienced before when renting a villa. The historical property is surrounded by Orange and Lemon groves in a peaceful and tranquil setting. We had various grandchildren and family staying a different times and there was something for all ages, ours are between 3 and 23 years. There is table tennis, beach tennis, games room with so much to entertain including a pool table! It was difficult to get the tennagers to go out as they were just happy lounging around the lovely pool and playing the various sports there! As mentioned before our hosts were so kind and helpful, even to the point where Sara booked and took us and three of the youngest children pony trekking herself!! When we arrived, not only did Dom meet us nearby to help guide us to the the house but various and very welcome supplies were in place, which was lovely. I cannot say how much we enjoyed our stay (a whole month) at this lovely villa. A tranquil home to say in with everything you could want. Plus, the town of Vera is 5 mins away! Perfect. Thanks Sara and Dom. We will certainly be returning."

"We had a nice stay here but would like to say that the apartment is showing its age. Furniture and certain things in the kitchen need upgrading such as rusty microwave and other utensils. It was clean but like i say old. The receptionists are lovely and friendly, we had a small problem with being charged for our deposit twice. It was soon sorted and put back in our bank within a couple of days. It is within walking distance to bars and restaurants. We would return if things were upgraded. "
