"This was a great property to stay at. It is located 20 minutes from Bayeux and was easily accessible. The map on VRBO has the address as number 37 if you click on the map but the address is listed as number 17 and that is correct. George offered to prepare us dinner the night we arrived but I waited too long to respond so if you are interested in that reply early. The beds were great, the house was comfortable and the location was good. Would stay there again. "

"Nice area. Close to Gold Beach. Very quiet. Very few dining options. Property is very small and toilet is in bedroom so not much privacy if sharing with another couple. Also, watch out for the request for you to clean the accommodation even though you paid for cleaning"

"The farmhouse was a great experience for our family. The character and layout had us wondering what life was like there in the 18th century but we still had all the amenities we enjoy today including a hot tub that our younger daughter loved. Plenty of room and ample kitchen which allowed us to cook after long days touring all of Normandy. Our travels were delayed so we did not meet our host so check in and parking was a bit confusing but that was not their fault. If the same thing happens...

"Fantastic stay. Sandra (the owner) was amazing, really responsive, and went the extra mile with my daughter, who loved feeding the animals. Setting and history of the building is incredible. If you are planning to visit D-Day beaches, British memorial and museum you could not pick a better location. Lovely little bakery around the corner too, which we walked to every morning. 5* without doubt, and we will definitely be heading back. "
