This place I like because it’s really close to downtown and the beach the guy in the morning that helped me at the office was a bit rude with a bad attitude but other than that everything was ok.

Very convenient location for surfers. 2 blocks from main st for eat & shop, and less than 5 minute walk from surf spots. Room is clean and has basics. Night shift staff is very nice and cares about customer safety.

The hitel description says there is a pool. There is no pool. When i asked about this, I was told "I've been telling Hotels.com for 10 years that we don't have a pool. But they won't change the listing"

The check-in was good. The desk attendant was polite and helpful. However, the room itself was not that clean. The refrigerator had soda spilled inside, and it made so much noise that it kept my wife awake. As I exited the room one morning, I was accosted by a man who asked for money; when I declined, he asked if he could use the shower in our room! I felt unsafe and went inside and locked the door. Also, the shower door would not close completely, making the floor wet and slippery.

For a Motel, it was not a bad experience. The room itself was clean and much quieter than I expected. The shower, however, had a lot of mold in the corners and on the caulking. The only real negative to this stay. There was a flat screen TV, a small table and 2 chairs and a mini fridge. The desk staff was friendly. The location. Is convenient and on a main road.

Was pleasantly surprised. Was beyond my expectations for a motel 6. Clean. Safe. Quiet (except for 2nd night there was a very long blasting train horn which signaled something or someone was on the tracks! Microwave and refrigerator was the icing on the cake. If you are going to the Fairgrounds, you can easily walk in 5-10 min and even get drinks/ food on the way at great establishments
