"This historic hotel is in a most convenient location within a stone’s throw of the train station and water bus stop. It is away from the high attraction tourist areas and near to some great dining, and shopping. The hotel itself has the best staff and service. They are always pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing. The courtyard is beautiful and tranquil. This is the third time I have stayed here and will choose Hotel Abbazia every time. A great value and a wonderful stay."

"Location was perfect for me as near Alilaguna waterbus stop for airport transfers and other ACTV stops for places i wanted to visit. San Marco area, although busy, is a great place to be based for someone making a first visit to this fascinating and charming city. Lots of shopping outlets nearby, top end and touristy and plenty of choice for meals out. I really enjoyed my stay despite having been the victim of pickpockets on the crowded ferry to Murano. Be careful all of you. They are quick, clever, and opportunistic."
