"Overall nice place. Very good breakfast. Room was hot in the evening. It had air conditioning, but the concierge refused to turn it on. I slept with the window open and the blind rolled all the way up. Maid didn't replace towels and dirty mugs. She'd tidy the bed though."

"This was probably the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in! I will break it down 4 in a bed style: Hosts: Were phenomenal! Nothing was too much for them. Friendly and courteous, efficient, kind and caring and all round fantastic! Facilities: we stayed in a suite, upgraded (for free!) to a lagoon view! It was perfectly equipped with everything you could need. The bathroom was beautiful, lovely shower, bidet, and plenty of toiletries and amenity kits. "I stayed at Villa Venice Movie for two nights after two full weeks of travel throughout Italy as a solo female traveler from the United States. I felt so comfortable, my stay was a perfect location to decompress after long travels and the room had an additional soft throw blanket which was a nice touch to relax before my flight back home. "

Venice Lido is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting Venice. The hotels tend to be better and much cheaper than in Venice itself. "People smile all the time and helpful "

"Really enjoyed our time there. Loved the smiles and service that the stafff gave. Made us cappucinnos which was good quality in the morning. It is in Lido (last ferry stop) so it's situated far from touristy areas, if you like that. The room like most Italian budget friendly stays are small but adequate. There seems to be a bit of slant on the flooring, a little uneven, but it did not affect our sleep. "

"We stayed here as part of our month long honeymoon throughout Italy. Overall, the place was safe and quiet and close walking distance to great food and stores. Something we don’t recommend is the breakfast service. It cost us €14 for two people total each day. We were told there would be bacon and eggs and full breakfast. "The room was very adequate. The breakfast buffet is affordable and really good. I liked the flare of the hotel, it has a unique venetian vibe. Transport by vaporetto is 5mn away. I found the first floor a little noisy in the morning though. Overall, this exceeded my expectations. "
