Great spot!

Lovely apartment! And Giovanni was so nice! There was a problem with the air conditioning upon arrival but he had already planned for a portable unit. Location is in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds, which is what we like. Overall, great spot!

Beautiful stay

The house is beautiful and clean in a very quiet area. The rooms are large and spacious. Great restaurants nearby and all the main tourist attractions within an easy walking distance. Giovanni was very helpful meeting us at the ferry and walking us to the unit, taking the time to show us the house and other useful information. He was also helpful and responsive during our stay.

Amazing place we’d love to go back

The property was very clean and homely. It’s up a few flights of stairs but we knew this in advance and it wasn’t a problem. Giovanni gave us lots of recomendations and there were guide books and maps in the flat. It’s in a fab location 10 minutes from the centre but in a very quiet area so we could explore the less busy parts of Venice easily and the flat itself was really quiet. Thank you for having us !

Fantastic apt well located for families

Loved this place for our family of 4! so well located within easy walk of everything in Venice and also very close to water bus stop for train station and airport. Giovanni was terrific to work with and so communicative and responsive. Gave us great suggestions too. Would definitely return! Thank you Giovanni!

Cute stay

The stay was as expected. Pictures were accurate to accommodation. It was nice to have a second bathroom. Note it was the third floor so quite a few stairs especially when carrying luggage 😀. Giovanni was very friendly and his book had a lot of suggestions. We would likely stay there again.

Serene Location

The property was in a quiet area away from the busy crowds of Carnival. Steps away from wonderful restaurants and shopping. Giovanni was an excellent host who met us at the water taxi and personally escorted us to the property. He provided recommendations for dining and activities that were amazing. Highly recommend if you desire a quaint location away from the hustle and bustle. We loved it!

Spacious, quiet apartment in a great location

This apartment was a great base for our family to explore Venice. The big tourist locales are within walking distance, plus there is a ferry stop very close so you can reach Murano, the airport, and locations across the island. The apartment itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. Giovanni was a wonderful host. Great communication. He met us at the ferry stop to show us to the apartment, and also made several recommendations for places to eat that were really great. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Ohio to Venice

The owner met us to open the apartment for us. Everything was fine but the second bathroom is down a flight of stairs and not by the second bedroom. We loved our time in Venice!

We spent two nights in Venice. All of the local sites are very close and easily accessible by foot

Property is great – Giovanni was excellent and a great host. The only highlight is for anyone with physical challenges. This might not be the property for you as there are four flights of stairs you must navigate.

Venice Paradise

Communication was amazing, checking in was so easy and Giovanni met us at the water bus stop. He gave excellent directions and he made sure to give us as much info he could to make our first time in Italy as simple as possible. I can’t stress enough how easy he made it for us. The apartment was perfect and the ac was so good! I would stay here again in a heartbeat should we every come back. You won’t be disappointed by staying here! Thank you, Giovanni!!

Great place

The owner met us at our boat stop, took us to the apartment and showed us around, he had a check and book that also provided maps of close restaurants and his suggestions on which ones would be a good fit for our family. He was super helpful and great with his communication seemed like he really cared about our stay and experience. Overall the place was great the only thing that you should be aware of is that the AC is in one room only. Being on the top floor of the apartment in June and July gets pretty hot and humid.

Great location

We really appreciated the fact that this home is in a quiet area of Venice. It was fun to walk the streets and see the tourist areas but oh so nice to come back to a quiet neighborhood to spend the evening. Giovanni met us at the water taxi and walked us to the apartment. He explained how everything worked and gave us recommendations on great restaurants and gelaterias. He was prompt with answering questions even before we arrived. It was a great place for two couples and included everything we needed for our stay.

Nice location and perfect for our family of 5 for an overnight stay.

We traveled to Venice to embark for a cruise but decided to fly in a day early to experience the city. It was hard to find a hotel room for a family of 5 so we decided to go the VRBO route. We found this property and it was perfect for our one night stay and family. It was in close proximity to all the major Venice attractions but was also tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. There were a lot of stairs to get to the unit but we knew this based on other reviews and it wasn’t an issue for our family. If you have issues with stairs you might want to consider another location. Giovanni the owner was great and really helpful throughout the process. He also offered to meet us at the dock and walk us to the unit. Overall a great experience.

The stay was very comfortable. The only thing I didn’t expect or know to ask before we booked was the number of stars to get into the apartment and two flights to get up to the rooms. Giovanni was very helpful and tried to help us know what to do re the water taxi strike. Unfortunately the info he was given was not correct and we had to walk with our luggage to St Lucia train station. I would recommend this apartment to young and fit people. At 72 it was difficult for me…..but we loved our experience in Venice

Finaly Venice

Giovanni is a wonderful host. His English is poor but our Italian is worse. The apartment is in Castello is a bit isolated from the hustle and bustle, but some people want that. The fourth floor without an elevator is a no-no for older guests. Once up the steps the apartment was fine. Venice to our surprise in early October was way too crowded. In the future we will probably stay in Padova and take a day train up to Venice w/o luggage.

Hervorragende Wohnung in perfekter Lage

Wir hatten als Familie einen wunderbaren Venedig-Urlaub. Die Wohnung war für uns der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um Venedig zu erkunden. Sie hat wirklich alles, was man braucht. Wir haben auch gelegentlich gekocht. Giovanni hat einige Tipps zusammen gestellt. Wir haben nur eine Pizzeria ausprobiert, die war aber wirklich sehr gut.

Quiet Apartment Near the Arsenal

Our stay started with a personal introduction by Giovanni including personal recommendations for various places to eat, including a wonderful gelateria by the water, and grocery stores nearby. The apartment has air conditioning that we didn't need but appreciated the fan. The windows had pull-down screens to keep out (most of) the mosquitos and comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Venice is a walking city and the major sights are all an easy walk. Highly recommend going out in the morning before the day tours arrive, as the city wakes up.
