Spacious and quiet apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. A private courtyard is a very quiet and charming. Two bedrooms (each with its bathroom), a large kitchen and a very large living room. Train station is just 10 minutes away from the airport.
It's located in a wonderful neighborhood where you will be able to enjoy the unique venetian lifestyle. Indeed this area of the city is still untouched by the world and you can find (within 2-5 minutes of walk) a lot of art and history together with the best and cheap bars and restaurants of Venice.

Massimo gave us accurate, detailed directions to the apartment. He then met us early (before the agreed check-in time) so that we could leave our luggage and explore Venice at our leisure. I would stay at another of his properties if the opportunity presented itself.

Massimo was very helpful. The apartment was clean, safe, and well maintained. Very pleasant experience. It is a bit of a walk to the tourist locations, but Venice is a pretty small place, so it's still walkable.

Quiet and spacious
Wonderful neighborhood, quiet even on regatta day. Lots of space in both bedrooms and each has an adjacent full bath. Furnishings and decor are spare, and the kitchen is functional for a limited amount of cooking. Overall, this was a great place for a couple of days’ stay and we would have been happy to stay there longer. Host accommodated our late arrival (extra fee, but the only time we could get for our dates). Supermarket nearby for any food you want to fix for yourself, and a couple of close by cafes. Easy walk from the Madonna del Orto ferry from the airport.

Great location, good experience
I would definitely stay here again! There was a cute view from the kitchen window of the gondolas going by, it was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. Good wifi, air con worked, and Massimo was very helpful and quick to communicate. Cannaregio was close to everything but much more peaceful away from the crowds. It was a relief to stay there and we enjoyed a drink at a local bar. I recommend this place. Thank you Massimo.

Exactly as stated. 10 minutes walk from train station and close to restaurants and shopping while still on a quiet street on the canal. Had the bare essentials. The host sent detailed info on directions from train and recommendations for business and restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was very difficult to find because there was an incomplete address. Once we found it, it was fine. I understand it is very difficult to communcate with such a time difference and language issues, but getting through to the owner was difficult.

Fantastic Location
If you are looking for a great location at a great price this is the place for you. The host was very accommodating. And very helpful and responsive to messages. The apartment was very clean. It is a minimalist apartment. So if you require hairdryers and are expecting a wait staff this is not for you. But if you are use to traveling. You will love it. Fantastic city.

The owner was very rude and charged me additional money for being late and having my kids with me. He was very rude and disrespectful to me and my children. We left the apt with bites and ants crawling on us. I should have read the reviews before this stay. VRBO wil not reimburse me for this stay and told me that the owner has to reimburse me. I guarantee he will not reimburse me for this awful mess. VRBO should do something about this. I have been waiting for them to communicate with him about my reimbursement from him. Nothing.

Beautiful, relaxing, and kind host…
This was a lovey and quiet place to stay just a short walk from anything I wanted to do, but also in a quiet neighborhood! Groceries very near and lots of good bars and restitution. The owner was very helpful and managed me even though I made an error in my booking. I booked one fewer days than I expected and when it was discovered that I made the error, he was both kind and as accommodating as he could be despite having a new renter coming in only hours. I ended up finding a new place for the last night which was sad, but the kindness displayed during my error was much appreciated. Venice is an amazing place and this is a quiet and peaceful place to rest your head!

Great place, great host, great location!
We had a wonderful stay in Venice at Massimo's place. The appartment is very big, clean and has all the necessary amenities. The location is very good as it's not in the tourist crowded center, but minutes away from it. It has a shop near and a lot of bars, restaurants and touristic attractions. Also you can reach easily the boats towards the other islands of Venice. We were also impressed by how attentive and friendly the host was. He provided lots of helpful tips about the city and the apartment, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Moreover, he offered us the possibility of having a trip with his boat around Venice. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Venice.

The rental is exactly as shown in the pictures and quite spacious and in a very quiet area with a few restaurants along the way. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to return to the touristy area of Venice. Massimo went out of his way to accomodate my parents as they were unable to locate the rental when they arrived. He did come later to welcome.us and was understanding of the situation. After reviewing our communication, I realized we weren't given the specific instructions on how to arrive to the rental. The address given when booking is slightly different so I recommend making sure you get clear instructions.
