Magnifique penthouse avec une vue magnifique!

Very beautiful flat (restored, spacious, bright, quiet and with a great view over a large canal and my garden) and located in a wonderful neighborhood where you will be able to enjoy the unique Venetian lifestyle. Indeed this area of the city center is still untouched by the tourism (but the highlights of the city are just a few minutes away) and here you can find (within 2-5 minutes of walk) a lot of art and history together with the best and cheapest bars and restaurants of Venice (together with a very convenient supermarket just 2 minutes away).
Right outside the door, there is a peaceful private courtyard by the canal where it is absolutely wonderful to stay with a chair and watch the water and boats passing by.
It's just a second floor, therefore there are not many steps!

We had a wonderful stay! This apartment was huge! Massimo was very attentive in communicating and offered up some information on Venice, local grocery, very precise directions from the train station to the apartment. We appreciated that as we were walking with decent sized suitcases. Would definitely recommend!

A very nice, quiet apartment just a 10 minute walk from the train station
Roomy two bedroom apartment. Tucked away just enough that it’s very quiet yet a easy walk to all attractions. I need of more pillows and bedding. Otherwise a great spot.

Great apartment in great location
The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location and view. Close to shops, restaurants and train station. Massimo was very helpful, gave great directions and great restaurant suggestions. He also let us drop off our bags early so we could explore Venice, which was great since we only had one day there. Highly recommend.

Beautiful
The apartment is spacious and comfortable. It’s very far from the main area of Venice about a 25 minute walk but the neighborhood is lovely. The only negatives were rhe king bed is just two twins beds together in a frame and not very comfortable and the toilet seat was broken. Expect to go to a local market for paper goods etc but it is very close and easily accessible.

This is a gorgeous property with beautiful views of the canal. Plenty of room for a small family to stay. Very quiet area away from the tourist crowd. There is a local supermarket just around the corner with a lot of fresh food and wine. The host, Massimo, offered to get a porter for us, gave excellent directions, and met us at the property. He is extremely friendly and helped us with getting to know Venice a little more. We can't wait to go back and bring our family with us next time.

A big and enjoyable surprise
Our road to the rental property is a hard and time-consuming one from Venic train station, but the actual stay there is a big surprise. After the train arrived at Venice, we used Google Map to locate the address provided, and it took us about two hours and we still failed to find the place. Finally, we told the host where we were and the host personally came to pick us up. The actual time needed to reach the rental place is only about 15 minutes from the Venice train station. We assume that the problem is caused by the lack of street name (we found out that the house number is correct and there is indeed no street name for the house). The whole building is owned by the host, and there are several units. The unit we were assigned doesn't look like the one shown in Vrbo website pictures, but it is a huge unit with several rooms, and it is really easy to reach all major sites from the rental place once you followed the host's two wooden bridge guidelines to leave from and come back to the rental place. Venice roads are convoluted, and you should get ready to get lost.

Lovely apartment
Lovely large apartment on a quiet street. The only criticism would be the bed could have been more comfortable and the apartment does not have an iron and the kitchen is quite bare. Communication with the host was quick and easy, my wife and I would stay again.

Joli emplacement, jolie vue, spacieux mais de nombreux équipements sont défectueux : – lit double auquel il manque de nombreuses lattes, ce qui le rend presque inutilisable – portes coulissantes qui ne coulissent pas – stores vénitiens cassés – hotte de la cuisine hors service – lampes en panne – siège des toilettes cassé – les "3 chambres" sont en réalité 2 chambres + une mezzanine – pas de rideau ni de volet à la fenêtre de la mezzanine – compresseur très bruyant sur la mezzanine etc. Si tout cela n'est pas réparé, refusez de payer la taxe de séjour ! (à payer en espèces sur place)

Un lit sur trois était confortable. Nous aurions pris un drap plat et une couette plus chaude. Nous aurions apprécié avoir certains éléments de base comme shampoing, café, huile d’olive, linge de table. Drain de douche bloqué et siège de toilette brisé. Troisième lit au grenier plus ou moins facile d’accès, avec bruit de la pompe à eau.

I love staying in this part of Venice. It’s off the beaten path, but you can easily get to all of the things Venice has to offer, and there are some great restaurants and bars one street away. The host was very helpful, and offered us some good sightseeing options.

Quiet corner with amazing view
This was our favourite place out of our 4 stays in Italy. We were greeted upon entry and given a little tour of the property and our unit. The unit is very spacious, wide hallways, very large washroom with a jet tub and two sinks. Large open kitchen and living area with a beautiful view of the canal from all windows! Two large rooms as well as a third sleeping area upstairs. There was a private access to the canal as well. The area was very quiet but close to the main areas.

A short visit to Venice.
The property is spacious. There a very few amenities in the kitchen. There isn’t a decent coffee maker or even a toaster. The offering says it’s a short walk up a few stairs. There are 47 steps up to the penthouse. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Had made arrangements to quickly store luggage of everyone traveling in the group (not everyone stayed at this place) Was read the riot act by the housekeeper and check in was incredibly difficult with multiple phone calls and uncessary warnings etc Delay cost us 100 euros from booked activities as it took too long just to store luggage It was not particularly cozy nor clean and lacked basic essentials like towels and sheets I wouldnt stay here again
