We had a wonderful stay at the Locanda Leon Bianca, just off the Grand Canal in Venice. Our vaporetto from the airport delivered us to a dock just a short walking distance away. The location was ideal... easily accessible to restaurants, shopping, and major sights. We were just north of the Rialto Bridge in the Cannaregio -- close to everything, but without the crowds. The facilities and staff were excellent and very accommodating.

This was such a gem of a place! Our room was absolutely perfect, we had an amazing view of the canal and the amenities were great. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helped us with transportation and recommendations. It is in a great location, walkable to everything, and very safe. I booked this hotel because i wanted a view of the grand canal. I received a room overlooking an alley. Very disappointed with view. Also, booked it because it had air conditioning but was told it was off.The staff is outstanding and its location is in the middle of everything. Excellent breakfast!
