Great location
The location is amazing, breakfast is good, and the staff was pretty friendly. The main thing I didn't like was that once you're there, everything has to be paid cash (room tax, luggage storage, late checkout, etc). Also we stayed in a 3 single bed room and the beds were very very uncomfortable.

Nice location with most sights walkable within a 15 mins radius from hotel. Lots of small interesting shops and restaurants in a maze of concrete and a pleasure to walk around and explore what's round the next corner.

We enjoyed our visit to Venice and the hotel. It was close to numerous shops and restaurants. The hotel is dated but well maintained. It's clean and comfortable. Little disappointed how they nickel and dime you. They wanted to charge for wifi until I complained and they also charge to hold bags in the lobby.

Room is small. Bathroom is Tiny too. Old carpets with stains. No heat at the beginning of the stay. Finally, The staff turned the heat on remotely which made the room too hot to stay. The thermostat did not work.

Location. location, location and that view!
This is a great hotel right in the heart of the action in Venice/Rialto. The hotel is right on the water close to the market, restaurants and public transportation plus the views you will get from the balconies are amazing. We sat out on those balconies almost every night and enjoyed the view with a lovely glass of wine. Upon arrival we were shown the economy room and a nicer room which we could upgrade for 30 euro in cash. We took the upgraded room which was a bit more spacious and light. It is an older hotel but with great charm. We would definitely come back.

Venice in October
The hotel has perfect location fronting the Grand Canal and less than 1 minute from Rialto bridge. The property has 2 floors with steep stairs but has the added advantage of a lift serving both floors. The hotel is very clean and rooms are serviced daily. The décor is somewhat tired and because most rooms overlook an alleyway, lack sufficient light. There are 4 rooms at the front of the property which have outstanding views of the Grand canal. I imagine these have to be pre-booked at a premium. This is a small hotel with 16 rooms which are adequate in size with on-suite bathroom. Small TV and mini-bar (contents chargeable but ideal to store your water) There is a Wardrobe and dressing table. The bathroom is adequate and has a built-in hairdryer. There are no in room coffee-making facilities so take your own kettle. To the front of the property are the breakfast room and lounge area. The latter has a balcony and chairs that look directly onto the canal and below, the waterside cafes. To your left you have a perfect view of Rialto bridge and all the hussle and bussle of Venice life going by on the water. The buffet style Breakfast is adequate and is continental style (nothing cooked and no fruit) The coffee is excellent and plentiful. Being a small hotel there is less likelihood of queuing for anything. The reception area is pleasant and the service OK. Very much depends who is on reception, but the Lady you may encounter on reception is excellent and very helpful. There is W

Venice is just amazing and this hotel was in the centre- it's breakfast lounge looks over the Rialto Bridge and there is no problem taking the waterbus when you arrive. Central to all areas including St Marks Square at night which is wonderful. Only downside was the paying of city taxes by cash only on arrival and signing a damage disclaimer form. It is always agreed if ones damages ones's room one pays for that. But a formal disclaimer!. And we had paid for the room with the same debit card so why cash? That is probably the way of Venice- certainly here. The room had signs of wear like a cracked sink. Lovely wall cloth rather than wallpaper but very dirty behind the door. But Venice is lovely and this is in a great location. As they say location *3.

an attic room.
arriving late and given a room in the attic w/ a spiral staircase to get through could have been more exciting if we were'nt tired yet and had to leave early the next day. had to leave our suitcases (2) down the lobby as it would'nt fit the hallway and the stairs. it was'nt a very pleasant experience but what the heck, it's only for the night. if i'd stay longer, i'd choose another hotel or room maybe? but the old man in the front desk is very helpful and accomodating. but who would'nt be if you'll give them a room in the attic w/ sloping ceiling and only electric fan to cool down. but still nice knowing that venice is not designed for grandeur in terms of hotels. they make do w/ what's existing.

Brilliant hotel in a perfect location.
Great stay at this hotel. We only stayed one night so had to check out at 11am but weren't flying until 10pm, we were allowed to use the facilities all day including a toilet and shower room, living room with terrace which overlooked the canal and Rialto bridge and free wifi. Would reccomend the hotel to anyone!! Staff were brilliant and so helpful and friendly!
