One bedroom apartment located right next door to the new Hilton Hotel in a charming 18th century building overlooking the Giudecca Canal, the largest canal in Venice.
It is situated high on the fifth floor and is reached by a self-service elevator, a rare commodity in Venice.
The apartment is newly built and furnished, it is sunny and bright, non-smoking, and family owned and operated. In short, we have remodeled and furnished it to our own high standards. As a result, it has all the modern luxuries and amenities while retaining their antique charm.
It is all bright, comfortable and quiet (we have special double glazed windows, an important amenity in a noisy city).
The apartment is located in the renowned Molino Stucky complex, in large part transformed into Hilton Hotel. This is a major plus for guests of this apartment, as they are able to use some of its 5 stars amenities (la
a Spa, a gym, restaurants, bars and a trendy Skyline Rooftop Bar), to be paid separately, while taking advantage of an affordable accommodation price.
It has terrazzo floors and lovely view (Hilton hotel garden, Lido island and the lagoon).
It has a large red marble bathroom with bathtub with shower, toilet and bidet; it even has a washing machine for your clothes.
Ideal for a couple or a family with one or two kids.
The apartment has central air conditioning and heat that you may directly control through a thermostat in the living room. The air conditioning will be activated from June to September.
Cooking is a nice way to save money when traveling with a large family, and we try to make it as easy as possible. Our kitchen is fully equipped, including all pots, pans, glasses and dishes that you could possibly need. All this and a dishwasher to clean up with after your meals. We have also provided color TV and stereo with CD player in, as well as irons and ironing board.
Finally, when renting a private home in Venice, always be careful to ask if there is an elevator. The great majority of Venetian buildings have no elevator as a result, bringing a family with luggage up several flights of stairs can present quite a problem. This has been solved in our building by the installation of a fully automatic elevator for your convenience.
Giudecca island has always been one of the favorite summer places of the noble Venetian families who built beautiful villas surrounded by lovely gardens and orchards, as well as churches, monasteries and convents. Some are still standing and others like the monastery of San Biagio became the Molino Stucky, a late 19th century art nouveau grain mill on the Giudecca Island in Venice.
On site or nearby: Piazza San Marco, Venice Biennale, Lido Beach (swimming and boating), Venice Film Festival, Shopping, Restaurants, Museums, Sightseeing, Cinemas, Churches and Synagogues. The new Cipriani Cafe is just yards away.
It is just a couple of minutes far by boat from San Basilio and Zattere (near several museums) and only 10 minutes from San Marco square.
