"Charming spot is as described, stone house with a brook running behind. Stayed in early March so the house had to be heated by the wood stove fairly constantly. Some wood was provided but we had to go up the hill to fill a wheelbarrow for another load. Internet access was sketchy at times. A weak signal. "One of the beds on second floor was uncomfortable, trip hazards for young children, particularly in kitchen area. On the plus side, the chateau is very well equipped, beautiful crockery, dishes and bowls. Stunning location, historic chateau with ancient aspects.
