"A simple property but clean and comfortable. Good showers, comfortable beds. Cool pool! Also easy access to Pisa on the train and beautiful Tuscan countryside by car. Drive further south to Follonica for a good beach. Add good company, food and (local) wine and you have everything you could possibly need."

"The villa is really lovely. Giacomo our host was extremely kind and helpful. Plenty of room for the 11 of us girls. You have to really have car as getting taxis as we did was a bit of a challenge. There are no supermarkets close by so a car is essential to buy supplies Some of the beds are a little uncomfortable but the rooms are lovely and very spacious Pisa is less than 20 mins and Lucca is very close too. The restaurant Stefani is a must. Thanks Villa Mari for an amazing holiday!"

"The house corresponds exactly to the description, it is old, in an early 1900s style, and very romantic. Sitting under the trees in the garden with a cold drink is unbeatable. For larger groups, the second bathroom might be a bit small."

"A beautiful traditional old house in acres of land. Good sized rooms (but if using the rooms on the mezzanine be aware that access is via the other bedrooms). Some things a little tired compensated by some beautiful old pieces. It is remote - there was a decent supermarket approx 15 mins walk but not much else - again, fine for us as we just wanted to relax but don't expect to be able to walk to nightlife! A great break and we loved it"

"The Villa is in a great location. Up in the hills with a beautiful view. My family enjoyed staying here. The location is very close to a train station which allowed us to travel many different places after a 20 minute drive to get to the station. Morning and evenings were picture perfect. "I find it hard to put into words how wonderful our stay was at the beautiful villa. First, Martin our host and family are the kindest people. They went above and beyond helping and making sure our stay was perfect. The photos of the Villa do not do it justice. Tucked in the hills, the Villa is beautiful and has breathtaking views. "Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin vorab war sehr nett und herzlich. Es gab Empfehlungen für Sightseeingtouren, Restaurant etc. und auch die Übergabe verlief einfach und ohne große Probleme. Zum positiven: Das Haus liegt direkt am Meer mit fabelhaften freiem Blick. Es war herrlich sich auf der Terrasse und den offen Räumlichkeiten des Hauses aufzuhalten und den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten.
