"Great property. Travelling from Canada, we drove from Copenhagen to Nyborg and decoded to stay here for the night. The staff was very friendly, offered to make us a reservation, and front desk is operational 24 hours a day. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean and soft. The wayer pressure in the bathroom was great and the body was really nice: wish i bought a bottle. No shampoo or conditioner. Shower was small but didn't matter to me. Dorect beach acces, great view of the belt...

"This hotel says it is 4 star hotel. I would definitely not agree. The location is beautiful nature area near the water but the property is in serious need of attention. The immense amount of cobwebs in the pergola covered walking areas and dead vegetation in the gardens was frankly depressing and creepy. The carpet was in need of replacement 20 years ago easily. No A/C in Denmark is normal but what I don't understand is, if you KNOW everyone will have to open the windows, why wouldn't they have...

"Such a cute and peaceful property. When I booked I only saw pics of the room, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely the courtyard was. The outside of the building looks original and well maintained, while the inside looks like a brand new hotel room. I appreciated the games provided including giant chess, ladder golf, table tennis, air hockey, and table football. Note that linens are not included but can be rented; and check in is from 15:00 to 17:00; so plan accordingly. "

"Munkebo is a lovely place. However we are both in our mid seventies and have slight mobility issues and were offered a room on the first floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs ourselves. The receptionist was not very responsive when I asked if only upstairs was available but continued to just walk upstairs. "We stayed in two rooms as the first one was at the end of the corridor and you got disturbed by people using the stairs which were right on the other side of the wall. It was obvious the rooms were in older buildings which meant you could hear the other guests in corridor. There was no kettle or tea/coffee things in the room something I would expect 4 star accomodation to have. Reception did lend us a kettle once we mentioned this. The restaurant serves excellent food at a 4 star accomodation...
