"Awesome apartment ,clean ,all amenities needed for a family stay , great view and close to beach , upon arrival the fridge was full of bottle water , fruit for juicing , bread , eggs and all the essentials to get started . "Arrived at the Convivial on 8/29/2024. A sign said to call a cell phone, no one around. Not a good start for a place named "convivial". Someone came down and showed us a room with stained carpets, stained curtains, stained towels, dark bathroom that wasn't clean. Carpeted stairs had stains. The carpets everywhere looked worn and not vacuumed. The doors to the rooms were plain wooden doors you might have in your house. One of them had a crack in it that you could see light come through. Not secure at all. The lobby was dark and the couch had a dark stain, as if someone had wiped greasy hands on it. No "luxury" here. There is a courtyard with a small pool that had not been cleaned for a long time. The walls below water were dirty. There were debris floating on the water and there was no filtration pump going. There were droppings on the pavement and the few tables/chairs were covered with dust. Not "spa" like either. The receptionist showed us three rooms and they were all in similar conditions. We spoke with the owner and they refused to refund our money. They offered to clean the room. I was disgusted and wouldn't sleep there even at no charge. I had to find another place to stay. I complained to Expedia. They tried to get in touch with the owner. The owner didn't answer the calls, Expedia did not approve a refund. This is the cancellation policy of 24 hours prior, but it seems there is no protection against false advertising. This place has been neglected for some time."

"The place is brand new. Very well maintained. Great service. Highly friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Good dining options. Amazing pool. There are not too many attractions close by. Perfect place just to relax or to spend a day in between Patras and Athens or south Peloponnese. Highly recommended!"

"Pros: An excellent hotel at a gorgeous beach by the pine forest. Unlimited sea view from the beautiful stylish big rooms. Private beach with free premium sunbeds. Fine dining restaurant. Cons: Restaurant service stuff was inexperienced. Music playing from 10am till after midnight is loud passes in the main building front rooms. The Sikelianios villa restaurant was closed (2024), villa was unaccessible. Overall, highly recommended. "

"Brilliant hotel, great and helpful staff and a hearty breakfast. The pool is a full size outdoor pool with Mountain View’s…perfect. Great village and mostly Greek people so a genuine Greek experience. "

"Hotel was lovely, infinity pool was great. Delicious breakfast each morning. If we were to stay again we would hire a car. The walk to and from the town was a bit steep and the local sites needed transport. The scenic railway was amazing! "
