This large townhouse has a fully equipped kitchen with a wide range of crockery, cutlery, glasses, serving dishes, saucepans and utensils. The stylish open plan lounge diner is tastefully furnished with a comfortable 3-seater sofa and 2 armchairs, coffee table and side tables and a shelving unit and tv unit. The dining table comfortably seats 6 with quality tableware available. A smart TV and DVD player is provided, as well as wifi, books and games. The house has had air-conditioning installed in 2024 on both floors which provides both cool air and heating depending on the season. There is a large rooftop solarium, where guests can enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area. 2 Sun Loungers, chairs and a large dining table with 6 chairs make this an ideal place to relax. The front terrace has a stone table and benches and is a real suntrap but also has a large blind if you prefer to be out of the sun, and at the back there is a secluded kitchen patio if you want some more shade. Unusually for Vejer there is off-street parking spaces opposite. The spacious pool complex, exclusive to owners and guests, is open every day from 25 May - 15 September and has two pools with changing facilities, a grass terrace and great views to Africa.
A three minute walk from the house is a cafe/bar, mini-market with fresh meat and cheese counter and gym. 5 minutes away is a Carrefour supermarket, plus another Dia supermarket, along with cash machines, grocer, fishmonger, mobile phone stores and numerous other shops. There is a wide range of restaurants in the town to discover as well as bars and cafes with regular music events. Further afield you can take a Bodega Sherry tour, go on a ferry across the Straits to Morocco, see the famous Jerez dancing horses, take a boat trip into the peaceful surroundings of Donana National Park, go whale watching from Tarifa or take the cable car up the Rock at Gibraltar and enjoy duty free shopping.
You can see the stunning Roman ruins and award winning museum at Baelo Claudia (free to EU passport holders) which backs on to the beautiful sandy Bolonia beach where there is a very challenging sand dune to walk up if you are feeling fit. The reward at the top gives you wonderful views - and it's much easier coming down! This is a wonderful area for walkers with many trails taking you either along the famous Costa de la Luz coastline or inland through parks and villages.
The Costa de la Luz has abundance of blue flag sandy beaches a short distance away. The historic fishing village of Sancti Petri has water sport facilities, Tarifa is a mecca for wind-surfing enthusiasts and has a lovely town and castle to visit.
