After a wonderful day of enjoyment, you return to the comfortable apartment in the evening, enjoy a wonderful afternoon on the North Sea beach just 3 km away, the pleasant visit to the weekly tourist and fish market in Veere or relax with one of the other ingredients that contribute to this relaxed holiday.
You then take a drink on the cozy balcony before you use the other facilities of the apartment, such as the kitchen.
In this kitchen, which is equipped with all modern conveniences including a fridge, a deep freezer, large microwave oven with oven, dishwasher, 5 burner gas hob and extractor hood, it is good cooking including free use of herbs and spices while kitchen linen is invitingly waiting for you . When you cook, the others are close by in the cozy living room, a lovely light living space with a wood stove for extra cozy moments. Then everyone moves to the sturdy wooden dining table, equipped with easy chairs and atmospheric lighting, to dine together, enjoying your cooking skills followed by a cup of coffee or tea, perhaps with sugar, which is freely usable for our guests.
Eventually the eyes fall slowly and it is time to go to sleep in the wonderful beds that are already laid out on arrival and where the bath towels are waiting for you. Then it is choosing who goes where to sleep, because there are two bedrooms on the ground floor. The 1st bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has a bunk bed with an extra trundle. Here is also the complete bathroom and a separate toilet with washbasin.
If you prefer to sleep on the first floor, there is the 3rd bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a washbasin and the possibility to add a free cot. For the laundry you are in the right place because on this floor are the washing machine (+ washing powder) and the dryer for our guests.
Is it a rainy day? Then there are books, games and DVDs for young and old. But in good weather it is great to have breakfast, sunbathe and have a drink on the sun-drenched balcony.

The parking spaces are free and close to the house.
The apartment is not wheelchair accessible and less suitable for people who are badly injured.
House rules
We trust that the apartment is not smoked, no parties are held and no nuisance is caused.
Open fire and barbecue is not allowed.
No more guests can stay overnight than agreed.
We expect guests to leave the apartment optically clean at departure! This does not mean you have to brush We take care of that.
We assume that you will respect your assets with respect.
Your dog is also welcome. Please let me know if this comes with you.
More than 1 dog for a fee.
There is a dog basket for him / her available to the size of a labrador. If desired, take a pillow or the like yourself.
The bedrooms, bathroom and sofa are dog-free.
On the complex, your dog must be lined up. Just outside the complex there are plenty of possibilities to let your dog go and run and swim!
Booking our apartment means that you have read the house rules and that you will take them into account during your stay.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT AND ACTIVITIES
Veere
This beautiful historic town on the Veerse Meer was once a major port city of Scotland a major trading partner. The rich history of Veere is evidenced by the many monuments that this small town has.
Location
Veere is located directly on the Veerse Meer in a beautiful area of space, calm, beach, sea, clean air and cultural possibilities.
Both Veere, Middelburg, Domburg, Zierikzee, Sluis and the many picturesque villages have beautiful monuments, galleries and cozy cafés, good restaurants and special shops.
Strand Veere
There is a beach on the Veerse Meer, next to Veere's inner harbor. A separate section is separated for children.
This beach is accessible from the apartment within walking distance either via Veere, or directly via a footpath through the meadows.
The market
Veere is known for its weekly fish market on Saturday and the historic weekly market on Tuesday.
In Middelburg next to the weekly market on Thursday, there are regularly other markets, such as an antique and crafts market, a second-hand book market, a fruit and vegetable market, a flea market and a night market.
The North Sea
The North Sea with its clean and beautiful beaches is only a few kilometers west of Veere and is accessible via an idyllic dike road with meadows on one side and the Veerse Meer on the other side.
Here the beaches are very spacious so it is not busy even in high season and there is plenty of space for everyone!
Children can also play and swim in the middle of summer.
For a refreshing glass of wine, a beer, a nice snack or dinner, visit one of the many cozy beach clubs or beach pavilions.
There are plenty of parking spaces for cars close to the beach.
For years, Zealand has the cleanest beaches and most of the sunshine in the Netherlands!
Watersports
In the vicinity of the apartment there are possibilities for kiting, blocking, surfing, skiing, soup, water skiing and sailing.
At the Brouwersdam is one of the separate attractions of Zeeland, the Waterjump. A shot of eight meters high where you can make the most spectacular jumps.
All Zeeuwse waters including the North Sea, Oosterschelde, Westerschelde, Grevelingen are beautiful to explore by boat.
The Veerse Meer and Grevelingen are ideal for a wonderful canoeing or kayaking trip, but it is also special to paddle a seaworthy canoe along the North Sea coast. For those who do not have a canoe or kayak, hire from one of the many providers in the region is also possible.
A glance at the map gives you an overview of the over one hundred dive sites in Zeeland. Here you can also see how the flora and fauna has been set and what you can expect from the level of amenities.
This particular part of Walcheren not only has many possibilities for water sports, but also in this varied part of Zeeland, you can enjoy walking and cycling (cycling can be rented in Veere).
A nice cycling route includes a round of pontje or dotted with the cycling node network, a route that you would like to see or discover the Zeeland Islands via one of the theme routes.
If you prefer to go hiking, take the Zeeuwse hiking networks, which lead you along the most beautiful parts of Zeeland: quiet farmland paths, unique nature, lovely villages, rugged dikes and wild waves.

In the immediate vicinity of Veere there are various farms that sell a wide range of organic and craft products. Definitely worth visiting!
In Veere, on the market, there is a good bakery! The supermarkets and shops for your daily groceries are around 5 km around Veere. Also here are free parking facilities.
