"We enjoyed our stay. Spent most of our time on the porch. It was lovely. Used the fire pit one evening. Quite a distance to travel if you wanted to dine out. Quiet neighborhood. "

"Our family stayed the week here and we had a great time! It had everything we needed while here and was under 10 minutes to the nearest grocery store. We have four kids under 10 and the kids looked forward to fishing off the dock from sun rise to sun down. We would recommend this house to other families looking for a lake front home! "

"We take an annual trip to Lake Gaston with 4-5 families every fall. This year was the first time we spotted this house and it was great. We maximized all of the space in the house- which admittedly has a bit of a funky layout to fit in this many rooms—but we had plenty of space to spread out and hang out despite having the max size group for the rental. We were initially worried about being on a small cove, but it ended up being fantastic for the kids to paddle board, kayak and swim (even in October!) and just a short paddle to the main lake. We have had several main lake houses before and this is the best fishing we have had in years- lots of fish right off the dock (mostly large pan fish). There is an arcade game not in the photos that adults and kids enjoyed in addition to pool and foos and the movie room now has a much larger TV than pictured. Hot tub was clean and great. Fire pit is on the non-lake side, which we knew from pictures, but probably resulted us using it less than we normally would since the weather was great and everyone was on the lakeside. Of note, like much of Lake Gaston, the WiFI was a bit spotty which caused some challenges with streaming and network things, but overall wasn’t a huge issue for us. There was a note in the house that the hope to have Fiber in the area soon. Elle was an amazing and responsive host and we had great communication. We would definitely stay here again and found this house to be even nicer than we thought when we booked it! "

"My fiance and I found this place last minute due to hurricane helen and the host was very responsive and answered all our questions immediately which prompted us to book right away. They even let us tour it just a few weeks prior. Our wedding party of 23 people were very much accommodated. This place was absolutely breath taking. This place has everything you need to have a remarkable wedding. From boats, to jet skis, to fishing poles, kayaks, etc. We will never forget the hospitality of the host/property manager and how special this place is to us ! "

"We've stayed at this lake house for several years and it's always comfortable, clean and relaxing. The back porch is perfect for meals and fellowship and the lake side view is beautiful. We always enjoy using the kayaks and paddle boards. This trip we caught a few cat fish, shell crackers, bream and white perch while kayaking. Thank you Pat for another wonderful vacation! We look forward to returning in the spring!"
