"It was horrible...It was my 1st time in France so I wasn’t aware of their culture. I used a towel to clean the floor and shower and was put out of the HOTEL the 2nd day! because the “owner” stated that that’s not the “french” way....I think he was being racist!! He also didn’t state that HE LIVED IN THE SAME HOTEL.....he advertised as iF the 2 beds were available but THEY WERE NOT!!! Wouldn’t recommend it to a dog!!!!"

"Marie Jo is an excellent host, fresh baked bread, handmade jams and farm eggs, what a treat! A peaceful place to stay just o the side of Saint Elophe old church a gem full of hiking routes 10 minutes from Joan of Arc’s birthplace and museum and an excellent gourmet restaurant Le Bois Chenu, chef Vincent D. Affordable prices and great view of the valley, we enjoyed a lot our experience and our host advices and hospitality, a place to come back by sure!"

"We had a great overnight stay in the garden room. Quiet and comfortable. Evelyne and Michel are natural hosts and made us feel very welcome . Would recommend you book the home cooked evening meal. Finished with a digestif of Michel’s grandfathers vintage Vin de Noix, perfect. Looking forward to returning next time we are in France. Beth and Joe"

"Nous avons réservé ce logement pour une équipe de 5 personnes en mission de travail (et cela a bien été précisé lors de la réservation), en pensant qu'il y aurait 5 lits comme annoncé. Quelle surprise en arrivant de constater qu'il n'y avait que 3 lits ! L´annonce est pourtant claire et les "schémas des chambres" représentent bien 5 lits! Nous n'avons jamais été informés de la situation, nous n'avons pas été remboursés et avons dû louer en moins de 2 heures un autre appartement. Le séjour nous...

The web site address is best, however, you have to park on the footpath and register before you can park. 5pm check in was an issue for us, had to drive outside city and wait 2 hours before being able to check in. If yiu want quiet, then this is not the best place as being walking distance from everything, there is a lit of foot traffic with boisterous drunks at night.
