"The lady who checks you in and runs the place is a saint. She took care of me during a difficult time. She made sure I was safe, helped me book a ferry and taxi to get back to Athens to go home due to a medical and personal emergency. She even made sure I ate and had water. The property is beautiful, right by the water and you can’t ask for a kinder host! Even comes with a bottle of wine. "

"We love staying at Kapetan Tasos. Our room was immaculate with incredibly comfortable beds. The showers were strong. The views from the room were lovely and it was a short walk to the beach, to beach bars and to the main town of Pollonia. The light breakfast served every morning was lovely. "Tiny room, not able to open 2 suitcases. Arrogant staff, overpriced beach services. Sun beds was made available fron 07.00-13.30 at 30 EUR and from 13.30-19.00 for 50 EUR. I.e. Not possible to rent for a day. Very few sun beds so this stay ay a mediocre hotel became very expensive. We were scammed in the restaurant, paid by card 120 EUR, after pin code they claimed that transaction did no go through, even though I showed it on the Mastercard app. Ended in a conflict, and I had to pay also...

"The rooms were small but good and clean. The caretaker was very helpful and guided us to the hotel from the beach close by as it was difficult to get route direction on Google Maps. The house has only one split Air Conditioner covering two rooms, the living room and the other spaces. The TV never worked ( we did not try to watch much TV though ) and the Wi-Fi was only good when we were at the patio. The patio has the view of the wonderful beach and the restaurants close by offer good sea foods....

"Michael was extremely helpful before our stay, and organized to pick us up at the port. He also organized for us to have a car, which was ready at the point of check in and allowed us to drop off at the airport. The rooms were extremely clean, and we were provided with a welcome basket.
