"the facility isn't new, and the hitel need a refreshing. we expected more for money we paid. SPA was full booked, and even if not, it is only 30 min slotts, nit enough to change the close. the only positive with yhis hotel is the location."

"The hotel is conveniently located off the motorway. We did not use it but it is located next to a shopping centre, which is handy. The laundry facilities were a much appreciated feature and the staff were extremely helpful, even checking around for what restaurants might be open for us on New Years Eve. I am glad we stumbled across this property."

"after a very long drive we have arrive to find out that we were lied about our booking and there is an extra cost for using spa services. it was supposed to be a romantic trip and we drove all the way from Copenhagen to face very rude manager of the hotel and ending up cancelling the stay and destroying the whole long trip"

"On a motorcycle tour of Scandinavia we stayed in around 15 different hotels - this was a real favourite. It was slightly out of season, so fairly quiet even though it looks like it could handle a lot of guests comfortably (I imagine it's sometimes used for weddings). Our room was superb - very recently refurbished (still had that slight "new carpet" smell) and was finished to a very high standard. "Very friendly and helpful owner, incredibly close to the train station and bus routes and practically in the centre of the town. Perfectly adäquate for what I needed ans a single traveller and a good price too. I’ll certainly recommend to anyone coming out this way. Thank you!"

The Best Place in Sweden

"We have visited Sweden many times over the last 25 years and this is still the best place we have stayed in. The refridgerator had stopped working when we arrived and the owners replaced it with a brand new one within a couple of hours. On the whole a quiet location with sometimes a bit of traffic noise from the motorway if the wind is from that direction. Great for walks along the Skåneleden that passes by the top of the lake. The mobile broadband is fine for streaming TV if you bring your own stick."

Amazing location

"Beautiful property, with an amazing view that made the morning and evening such a calm state. Really enjoyed our time there as it was a surprise weekend trip for my partners birthday, where there was plenty of activities with an amazing nature all around us"

"Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Der See ist wirklich wunderschön und dass man ein Boot und ein Kanu dazu hat, macht das Ganze natürlich noch toller. Man sollte sich nur bewusst sein, dass ein Zimmer ein Durchgangszimmer ist, so dass man da durch gehen muss, um zum Bad zu kommen. Da wir eine Familie waren, ging es, aber bei Freunden wird es schon was komplizierter. Auch das Bad ist relativ klein. Ansonsten haben wir in der Küche alles gefunden, was wir benötigten und auch das Wohnzimmer war super gemütlich."
