Our family and dog-friendly holiday home is located in beautiful Varel-Dangastermoor. Situated in a quiet residential area, only 4km from the beach, you can relax in the large fenced garden on two terraces. Both terraces can be shaded, the larger one is covered and sheltered from the wind. The small natural pond invites you to watch the wildlife.
On the ground floor, the spacious hallway leads into the generous main living area, consisting of a living room, kitchen and dining area. The wood-burning stove provides cosiness on cold days.
There are also two bedrooms and a spacious daylight bathroom with bath and shower on the ground floor. The bedrooms each offer space for two people.
You can reach the upper floor via the wooden staircase. Here you will find another small dining and cooking area, a cosy living room, two bedrooms and a daylight bathroom.
The Varel district of Dangast is located on the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. The tides here ensure constant change. Although not located directly on the North Sea coast, the healthy, stimulating climate ensures the best relaxation. In summer, the beach at the Alter Kurhaus and the Dangast hermitage is particularly attractive with its unique sunsets. The two family-run Tapken restaurants are known far beyond the town's borders and are now in their fifth generation of providing unconventional catering for guests with traditional home-made dishes.
Captain Wassermeier invites you on his Jantje von Dangast for trips to the seal banks, the Arngast lighthouse or to Wilhelmshaven. You can explore the beauty of the Jade Bay on hiking and cycling tours along the dyke.
