This is scam for the 3rd time for me. I booked a room in Varanasi only to find that the hotel doesn't exist. I however received 2 confirmations from Varanasi and Jammu. When I called there are some call center buys who keeps you hours busy an hang up. This is full-scale scam Expedia promotes.

Expedia has pulled off a scam worthy of a Bollywood heist flick, with this one. They passed off a property based in Jammu as the one situated at Varanasi with a completely wrong address location in two separate states, as mentioned on their aggregator portal. I went to the said address and to my surprise, there was no hotel to be found. In utter astonishment, I tried calling the hotel frontdesk contact number incessantly but the number was not functional. Nobody bothered to even check with the address and contact number to facilitate their customers get accurate information. I couldn't even cancel my reservation through their app, or contact their helpline number / email for clarification, as it does not exist. Now, neither the FabHotel nor the folks at Expedia are willing to refund my reservation amount. Avoid these brands with a ten-foot pole, else be ready for an embarrassing holiday experience. Never again!
