Decent place to stay in Vsng Vieng
"Good location close to restaurants, shopping, night market and the boat rides on the river. Staff was friendly and polite but not very knowledgeable about the local activities. Breakfast buffet was adequate but nothing exceptional. Okay for a short stay based on the proximity to everything"

It's a beautiful place with so much natural scenery, but I wouldn't want to stay in the town. All the construction made it dusty and unpleasant.

Small, not much to see. Some tours were absolutely worth it though. We did tubing and the Vang Vieng challenge from green discovery which was amazing.
