This property is close to the Canada cruise port in Vancouver, BC. The area has some nice places to eat and a drug store very close, which we found we needed. The rental property's cost was reasonable for the location.
The Balcony was very nice, but the screen door needs repair. We only stayed one night, and it was tight for four people. The property is a studio apartment, with limited separation of the bedroom from the rest of the apartment. The owner provided scented toiletries.
Our primary concern was entering the property. We were not able to get into the property. Anyone entering for the first time must be buzzed in, activating the door and the elevator. We arrived at about 7:15 pm and were left standing on the sidewalk (which was quite narrow for 4 people with luggage) for a substantial amount of time because there was no one to buzz us into the property. We attempted to call, e-mail, and text the owner unsuccessfully. One of the residents was kind enough to let us wait in the lobby. Finally, we were able to reach her through VRBO, and all of this was after traveling since 3 am. The residents of the building were extremely kind, helpful, and sympathetic to our situation and did their best to assist us.
I strongly recommend that the owner provide detailed instructions regarding accessing the unit and a backup plan if they are not available to buzz the renter into the building.
We feel this property would be good for a single or a couple.
