Located across the street from Pacific Spirit Park, 5 min from UBC, and walking distance to 10th street cafes, this bright, contemporary West Coast architect home has an open floor plan, air conditioning, a hot tub and an infrared sauna perfect for families to unwind in the winter or summer alike!
The house has a bright open floor plan of approx. 2500 sqft on three floors. On the ground floor, the large open living area and kitchen with bay windows front and back, a guest room and en-suite bathroom (2023 renovated rain shower), and access to the front and back decks. The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and the two guest rooms with bathroom are on the first floor. There is an open bedroom on the third-floor mezzanine and a basement suite available to rent separately for larger parties (contact host).
The house is designed to be casual, functional, and comfortable living for all ages—unwind in the hot tub or sauna, enjoy a movie night on the new 65' Frame TV in the master, sip a delicious latte made with the espresso machine, or cool off in the newly installed air conditioning!
Total of 5 bedrooms—Two KINGS, one FULL, two SINGLES with the following configuration:
1) Main level (ground level - 3 steps to enter the house): one SINGLE bed with large desk and Herman Miller chair, ensuite walk-in rain shower and toilet, closet (option for portable AC, adjacent living room has 2 A/C units).
2) First floor: one MASTER KING bedroom with ensuite bathtub/shower (AirCon, 65" Frame TV), one KING bedroom with shared bathroom and AirCon, one FULL bedroom with shared bathroom and AirCon.
3) Top floor: one SINGLE bed with deck and desk (up the stairs, no door, no Aircon, option for portable AC)
Beds are on the firmer side with the exception of the master (Tempur-pedic memory foam)

**Summer 2023 update: two split A/C unit in the living space and 3 bedrooms on the first floor. There is an option to use a portable A/C unit in the downstairs or top floor bedroom if required
Guest Access:
You will have access to 3 levels of the house, with exclusive usage of the fenced front yard, the back deck, BBQ, hot tub and hamac on the upper deck. No locked rooms or closed off spaces, the house is yours to enjoy! There is a basement suite accessed via a shared front gate with the house and through a set of stairs on the backside (no access from the inside). - For entertainment, there is a smart TV in the office and a 65" Frame TV in the master with streaming services and lots to do for the little ones: board games, keyboard, toys.
- We can provide baby equipment upon request (high chair, pack n' play, stair gates recommended).
- For guests with pets, we ask that you keep your pet in the fenced-in front yard when outdoors and that you clean up after your stay.
Environmental health is our top priority! No carpeting, hardwood floors throughout. Our professional cleaning company uses natural cleaning products rated by EWG. Please let us know if you have chemical sensitivities so that we can make further accommodations (i.e. scent-free). Reverse osmosis water filter in addition to fridge filtered ice machine, PFOA-free cookware... Finally, our home is pet-friendly, please take into account if you have a severe allergy.
