Relax and enjoy
Quiet neighborhood, pretty park nearby, if you have children theres a playground right across the street. Clean, quiet, all the ameneties. The deep tub was a nice surprise! Beds are comfy and soft. Altogether a very nice stay. Take into consideration that stairs down to door are steep but very safe.

This is a basement apartment which is not mentioned in the description, which has an overview photo of the lovely house above. It is clean, well-maintained and has nice amenities. There are steep stairs going down, so pack lightly. The neighborhood is nice, and if you are driving easy to get around. It is about 1 mile to the nearest Skytrain station (Rupert), and food places. There is a very good Italian restaurant just about 4 blocks away and a nice park too. The internet TV did not work while we stayed, but otherwise all was in good order. The bedroom has nice bedding but is small with the bed filling the space such that the door is not easily closed, and maneuvering in/out not easy. For a visit with car, and wanting a quiet place this is good. It would be nice to have access to outdoor space as Vancouver is a nice place with lovely mountain views not seen from the apartment windows.

Clean, Convenient & Modern Basement Suite
We stayed here for a whole week while in Vancouver. Location was easy to find & to get to. Approx. 15 minute drive to just about anywhere we needed to go. Nice neighbourhood for evening walks. Modern, Clean & cool basement suite with air conditioning (it was nice to have a cool place to come back to, in the heat of the summer). Lots of on street parking in front of house. Kitchen was a bit misleading as photos in listing showed an oven/stove in the kitchen and when we got there, it was just a hot plate, microwave & toaster oven. Glad we didn't do our grocery shopping until we arrived. Bedroom pillows were old and soft, and the bedroom door didn't close - wouldn't be ideal for two couples, but it was good for a family. If you are early/light sleepers, be aware that there are children upstairs and the door separating the basement suite is not sound proof. In the evenings we could hear talking/yelling as if they were in the room next door. Also, while we were there, there was an issue with the wifi. The owners were present and did attend to it right away, so we are thankful that it didn't last long. Lastly, cell phone service in the suite doesn't work because it's below ground. You have to go outside and upstairs to make or receive phone calls. Overall, it was a convenient location and good value. Communication with owners was easy. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

We would return
We enjoyed our stay in this great apartment! It is a bit of a distance from the main attractions but was only a 10 minute drive to where my son lives. We did take the Sky Train and bus back one day and it was very simple. The apartment had everything we needed and we would definitely return if we come back to Vancouver!

Spotless clean, very spacious, easy to communicate with owners, very good bed. A little too far east for us. Our cell could not be used in the apartment-for optimal connection we had to go up some steep stairs; in winter or rain this would be a problem. It would be helpful if some packets of sugar would have been available for our first morning. Some coffee for the first morning, as we have found in other VRBOs would have been appreciated.

Great space for a couple
The space was the right size for two people. It was very clean and organized when we arrived. There was street parking outside of the house and it was a short drive to downtown Vancouver. It is the perfect space for a weekend trip and was easily accessible.

Modern suite with hassle free parking
We enjoyed our 7 days stay at this clean, modern suite on a quiet residential street. A bonus was free parking in front of the house as most streets in the area have permit only parking. Our host was quick to respond to all inquiries and requests. There are stairs going down to the suite as it is in the basement, which might be a problem for those with mobility issues. We would stay there again on a return trip to Vancouver.

Well taken care of property
This basement suite was clean and well taken care of. The arrival process was easy and parking was very simple on the street. We easily drive to everywhere in town from there. The neighbourhood is nice and has all you need.
