"Beautiful place to spend the night; I was upgraded to the #1 house because of flooding from rain. It’s awesome and cozy. Snacks and fruit on arrival. Castle and such are all right there. I came in January; do plan on bringing food with you as options are closed/limited. "

The breakfast is self service with everything laid on for you and is of a high quality. The spa facilities are good, the pool has powerful jets that massage well and the staff are welcoming. The gym is small but user friendly. Situated just outside the lovely town of Penamacor in this sleepy area of Portugal, you get a real treat of a retreat here. I will come again and highly recommend."
