"What a wonderful visit to Karen’s cabin. Staying here was a blood pressure lowering experience that melted our cares away. When you drive up and see the wooded yard with screen porch and fire pit, it instantly puts you in vacation mode. The kids loved meeting the friendly duck who met us at the back of the house, and escorted us to the pond. That was our first time feeding a duck and no it didn’t bite! "Pros: gorgeous cabin with a lake view. Cons: Property had fresh linens and a freshly made bed but there were lots of spider webs through the cabin and porch area. The porch had several places where the screws were not all the way in and were sticking up which made it hurt if you stepped on one. The fire pit outside was also full of trash. "Overall it was a nice place. The chalet was dated and in need of some TLC. There was no battery in the smoke detector which was upsetting. The paint on the porch was chipping and the boards were rotting. Management was great! I will be back but I would bot stay in this chalet again."

"We had a nice time in Pine Mountain. Our chalet was not cleaned prior to our arrival-lots of debree, including dead roaches and mouse droppings mostly on the floors. If some one would have just dusted the Cobwebs and vacuumed the floor it would have made a huge difference. Also ants crawling around the kitchen the whole time we were there.
