"Casale Mattei is so lovely! A darling country cottage atmosphere (with stylish, modern details that reflect impeccable taste— in the breakfast room details especially, as well as bedroom furnishings, bedding, etc.), all of that was noticed & just pleasant & comfortable to be around. "staying at Cascina Cortine was the best experience we had during our entire 3 week vacation in northern Italy. My husband and I highy recommend this B&B in Guarene, a special little town. Our hostess and host, Danila and Bruno were simply magnificent in every way. The accomodations were very comfortable and every detail was tended to by Danila. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we loved walking out our door to find a beautiful view of the Piedmont vineyards and have the pool metres away to dive into on a hot afternoon. The property is located on a quiet street very close to the city center, so there are countless restaurant options that are within a few minutes of walking.
