"Can't say enough good things about the property but specifically the owners. They were kind, attentive and friendly. Made us feel special. This was the perfect place for us to stay as it was exactly halfway between Santander and the house we're renovating in the area. Highly recommended and will use this hotel as overflow property when multiple family and friends come to visit but don't all fit in our house.😂"

"We chose this hotel because it was an hour from Santander and just off our main route from Portugal to the ferry port for the UK. Lovely town with impressive old centre and lovely riverside walks. Lively market the day we arrived (Tuesday). Be aware that self-parking is actually free on-street parking but area seems very secure so we left most of our extensive contents in car and had no problem. Also,hotel restaurant non-functioning so sought dinner in town and nowhere open until 9pm. But...

"We were lucky enough to happen across this gem when searching for a quiet location close to Santander that would accommodate us and our two small dogs in a hurry. We were taken aback by the extent of kindness and curtesy extended to us by Ivan and warmed by a welcome that was genuine. "This hotel was an overnight stop off between the coast of Asturias and Rioja. It was very affordable. It did not have the charm of the old buildings but everything we could wish for was there. The food was cheap and very good. The breakfast was enjoyable. The service was good. No complaints. Great Value for money"
